SOME STORIES ARE SO TIMELESS -so good, they deserve a second life! Today, we are celebrating legendary Nollywood classics that were remade for a new generation and produced by our oga at the top @chrisodeh . Oh and you can make it a weekend binge by catching them on Netflix.

1. Rattlesnake: The Ahanna Story
Originally Rattlesnake (1995), remade in 2020. The gripping tale of Ahanna Okolo, a young man thrown into the brutal world of armed robbery after a painful childhood. A Nollywood classic that defined crime drama and emotional storytelling.

2. Aki and Pawpaw
Released in 2002, remade in 2021. The hilarious adventures of two mischievous troublemakers whose chemistry and chaos still crack us up till today. A true comedy legend!

3. Nneka the Pretty Serpent
Originally released in 1994, remade in 2020. The iconic story of beauty, power, and the dangerous price of a serpent spirit. A supernatural masterpiece that helped shape Nollywood’s spiritual thriller genre.

Heading to pitch my story idea to an investor and I picked my camera and “Before You say Action” by @chrisodeh as my lucky charm and hope to get this investor invest in this idea because stories about the interaction of Christians and Muslims in the middle. We need lasting solution to the crescending intolerance. As a lecturer/researcher of Interaction of Religions, I think we can tell a story of how this all started and how some communities have manage the situation even in the midst of the crisis. It will interest you to know that their are communities with Hausa Fulany but no single religious crisis has ever erupted in some communities within Jos. What is their secret, how did they manage to maintain religious tolerance? Lessons from these people could be used to manage the situation in other parts of the start and middle belt.

.
I’m deeply honoured and excited to share that I have been selected as one of the 23 fellows for the 2026 Elevate Africa Fellowship.

At a time when Africa’s future is being shaped by bold ideas, collaborative leadership, and intentional growth, platforms like this are not just opportunities, they are catalysts. Catalysts for refining vision, strengthening leadership capacity, and fostering meaningful cross-country collaboration across the continent.

My sincere appreciation to His Majesty, Ogiame Atuwatse III and Olori Atuwatse III for the vision and commitment behind this initiative. Creating spaces that gather thinkers, builders, and change-makers across Africa is no small feat, and I am grateful to be part of this cohort.

This season of my life is one of intentional scaling, refining systems and becoming better equipped for the work ahead. It aligns strongly with the direction we are taking at COAL360 Global over the next two years, as we double down on our commitment to impact the creative economy and empower the next generation of African storytellers.

Our goal is clear: to move beyond inspiration into transformation; providing not just knowledge and know-how, but also access, tools, and the right environment for creatives to truly develop, thrive, and leave a lasting mark on the continent.

A special thank you to my team at COAL360: Oprah Onyeador and Deborah Elegbede for bringing this opportunity to my attention and encouraging me to apply. I’m grateful to be surrounded by a team that pushes for growth.

I look forward to all that this fellowship will unlock.

The work continues. Africa is rising. And we must rise with it.

View Instagram Stories in Secret

The Instagram Story Viewer is an easy tool that lets you secretly watch and save Instagram stories, videos, photos, or IGTV. With this service, you can download content and enjoy it offline whenever you like. If you find something interesting on Instagram that you’d like to check out later or want to view stories while staying anonymous, our Viewer is perfect for you. Anonstories offers an excellent solution for keeping your identity hidden. Instagram first launched the Stories feature in August 2023, which was quickly adopted by other platforms due to its engaging, time-sensitive format. Stories let users share quick updates, whether photos, videos, or selfies, enhanced with text, emojis, or filters, and are visible for only 24 hours. This limited time frame creates high engagement compared to regular posts. In today’s world, Stories are one of the most popular ways to connect and communicate on social media. However, when you view a Story, the creator can see your name in their viewer list, which may be a privacy concern. What if you wish to browse Stories without being noticed? Here’s where Anonstories becomes useful. It allows you to watch public Instagram content without revealing your identity. Simply enter the username of the profile you’re curious about, and the tool will display their latest Stories. Features of Anonstories Viewer: - Anonymous Browsing: Watch Stories without showing up on the viewer list. - No Account Needed: View public content without signing up for an Instagram account. - Content Download: Save any Stories content directly to your device for offline use. - View Highlights: Access Instagram Highlights, even beyond the 24-hour window. - Repost Monitoring: Track the reposts or engagement levels on Stories for personal profiles. Limitations: - This tool works only with public accounts; private accounts remain inaccessible. Benefits: - Privacy-Friendly: Watch any Instagram content without being noticed. - Simple and Easy: No app installation or registration required. - Exclusive Tools: Download and manage content in ways Instagram doesn’t offer.
