Big Wedding Weekend Ahead:

Tomorrow my main man Ryan Rojas @ryanjrojas ties the knot to his love Kate Proto @kateproto in their shared hometown of El Segundo (America’s Best).

A single post can’t sum it all up but through the last 12ish years we’ve been fortunate to share many adventures, experiences, and most of all, great laughter as pals and roommates. Our love of movies introduced us and in the early years that revolved around writing reviews for @cinemacy along with Ryan’s sister Morgan. This coincided with the birth of the Home Video Hustlers, which played a vital role in our shared love of movies and created a space to take that all the way to 100.

Post-grad, we kicked into high gear with some indelible years at Saturn Street along with our 3rd musketeer Jasper Bernbaum (later Ben Shiplett) and many guest appearances from Cole Sadler among others.

There’s more: trips to Palm Springs and JTree, a Eurotrip, music and film fests, and many adventures bopping around LA. But the best stuff was always unscripted, how a simple conversation became a laugh, and the laugh became a recurring memory for years and years to come.

Ryan met Kate in early 2023, they’d gone to the same high school but re-met as adults and it was an instant “yes” and the rest is history, and tomorrow their ice cream, flowers, and decked out parties become the stuff of husband and wife. I’m so happy for them both and cannot wait to celebrate all that lies ahead.

South Bay councilmembers better start revising their Top 10 list, because (see last slide) there are about to be 2 new reasons to *love* El Segundo 😍

A little behind-the-scenes from my time as a flight attendant in the music video for “What If I Die Flying Over Oklahoma” by Rae Isla. ✈️

Such a beautiful, haunting song and an incredibly fun (and slightly surreal) shoot to be part of. Huge love to @raeisla and our director@classicnelson for bringing this one to life.

The full video is up on YouTube, and the song is streaming on Spotify — go give it a listen and let me know what you think.

The Clyde Best Story | Sold Out World Premiere!!!!

After 5 years in the making, the majority of which was done working remotely with a team around the globe, it was awe inspiring to see 500 people watch the film together, cheer on archival footage of Clyde scoring goals, on the edge of their seats during tense scenes, and riding the emotional catharsis of his journey.

Equally special was the caliber of individuals in the room: many notable footballers (and also many Bermudian dignitaries) whose own stories I learned about editing the film but got to meet for the first time: Les Ferdinand, Ade Coker, Paul Canoville, Sayce Holmes Lewis, Patrick Horne, and others, each trailblazers in their own right.

A theme of the film is how Clyde’s story is not widely known outside of Bermuda and West Ham fans, and therefore, the importance of making a documentary about him. I sincerely believe this film in time will cement his place in sports history. I look forward to sharing this film with many more places around the world in the months to come!

3 more nights in London (seats available still!), and then Bermuda next month, the homecoming premiere. I’ll have more pics to share soon. Follow @clydebeststory for all of the updates ⚽️

Time to announce big news: I am the producer & editor on a brand new feature documentary
5 years in the making!

TRANSFORMING THE BEAUTIFUL GAME: THE CLYDE BEST STORY is a biography of Clyde Best, “the greatest sportsman you never knew.”

Born in Bermuda, Clyde was recruited to play English football/soccer for West Ham United in 1968, and became one of the first Black athletes to play in the UK top division. Facing racism and bigotry, Clyde became the Jackie Robinson of English football, scoring over 50 goals and paving the way for generations of non-white athletes. In his later career he moved to the U.S. and played for the Portland Timbers and the Tampa Bay Rowdies.

Director/Producer Dan Egan @danskiegan has known Clyde for nearly 40 years, and 5 years ago, tapped me to join the team and bring Clyde’s story to the big screen for the very first time. I am elated to share that this week the documentary has its LONDON WORLD PREMIERE at Sadler’s Wells East @sadlerswells_east March 25-29, kicking off a global theatrical tour 🌎

Confirmed dates:
📍London - March 25-29
📍Bermuda - April 21-26
📍Tampa Bay - May 7-8
📍Portland - June 4-5
📍Atlanta - June 20

More festivals and screenings to be announced!

Follow @clydebeststory for all of the updates. (If you know anyone in London, send them my way and I’ll get them a ticket!)

I have immense gratitude for the stellar crew who have made this happen. Dan Egan has carried this film to the finish line against all odds, and a special shoutout to the post-production wizards I’ve had the pleasure of collaborating with for the past 15 months of editing: archivists, historians, editors, asst. editors, colorists, graphic designers, animators, sound mixers, musicians, and our narrator: Tony D Head @tony_d._head. More thanks to come.

For now, it’s a joy to be back in the UK, a country where I find myself with a perpetual smile wandering tube stops and overhearing cheeky British accents 😁 Long live the movies and cannot wait for the world to know the Clyde Best story ⚽️🇬🇧🎬🇧🇲 ⚽️

Author Caroline Tracey @ce_tracey signs 100 books in 20 minutes at the @strandbookstore in New York City. “Salt Lakes” is now available wherever you buy your books 🧂✍️📚

Back from an Instagram break (do recommend) for some exciting news:

Tonight at midnight is the release of SALT LAKES, the 1st BOOK written by my sister Caroline Tracey @ce_tracey 🧂💧🔥📚 available wherever you buy books from publisher @w.w.norton. And dont just trust me, trust the NEW YORK TIMES who picked it as one of their “March Books to Read”!

I will be visiting NYC March 17-20 for the big launch Wednesday 3/18 at @ptknitwear and it’s the most exciting family trip to NYC since 1999 (picture 5!) I don’t know the exact origins of Caroline’s love of Salt Lakes, but maybe it had something to do with playing Mr. Mouth 🐸 in 1995 (picture 6!) only way to find out is to read it!

Events happening in: New York, Denver, Portland, Tucson, Phoenix, Philly, Berkeley, Vegas, and (you guessed it) Salt Lake City.

LA launch coming later this year, check the cities on picture 2 to find an event near you or order it online wherever books are sold. First person to DM me about it, I’ll buy you a copy! Or visit Caroline’s Instagram @ce_tracey for all the links 🔗

Congratulations Caroline, a lifetime in the making to become a successful author overnight!!!

It was 3 year ago today, 2022, we launched this Instagram page! How much we’ve shared, grown, and enjoyed in those many years of embracing Breakup Season and building our own community. Tonight is a big one - we hope you’ll join us in celebrating Breakup Day 2025 wherever you are!

I started reading Moviemaker Magazine in 2006. It was a full circle moment to be invited onto their “Panel of Cool” and select festivals for Moviemaker Magazine’s Coolest Film Festivals in the World 2025.

Full article now online @moviemakermag (Now get ready for some throwback pictures!)

My choices:

EASTERN OREGON
@eofilmfest
First attended in 2019 with a short doc and the rest is history. Without EOFF there’s no Breakup Season. It’s not a fluke: the next EOFF supported film is already underway @baddayforbigfoot. When I introduced Breakup Season to EOFF’s sold out crowd, I started with, “5 years ago I arrived in La Grande a stranger, and tonight, I’m coming home.” No exaggeration, a life-changing film festival.

PORT TOWNSEND
@ptfilmfest
PTFF boasted not 1, but 2 sold out showings of Breakup Season. A perfect festival location: small enough to walk everywhere but big enough to draw big crowds and exceptional programming. The parade is a great touch too!

WACO
@wacoindie
This is like a summer camp disguised as a film festival. Samuel & Louis are amazing at running a festival that hosts 100+ filmmakers. The support they offer, particularly for short films, is pretty darn awesome. Above all else it’s just plain fun!

SEDONA
@sedonafilmfestival
Attended in 2016 with my short film “Don’t Tell My Mom” and was so lucky that @bryanhume_ (who was that film’s composer) could attend with me. We had no idea just how good we’d have it: the festival put us up at a Zen mountain center, treated to delicious meals (still dreaming of Pisa Lisa), and hosted tons of parties for us. I still keep in touch with filmmaker friends met here. The crystal vortex is 100% real.

TELLURIDE
@telluridefilm
I could not in good faith create a list of coolest festivals without Telluride. My mom took me in 2010. We truly had zero idea what we were stumbling into: next thing you know we attended premieres of “The Kings Speech” “127 Hours” & “Black Swan.” Bonkers!! I attended again in 2015 with their Student program, and that’s where I learned in even more depth about their amazing offerings. This is the high watermark. I got spoiled right out the gate.

Long live the festival circuit!

I still keep in touch with filmmaker friends met here. The crystal vortex is 100% real.

TELLURIDE
@telluridefilm

@eofilmfest

@ptfilmfest
PTFF boasted not 1, but 2 sold out showings of Breakup Season. A perfect festival location: small enough to walk everywhere but big enough to draw big crowds and exceptional programming. The parade is a great touch too!

WACO
@wacoindie
This is like a summer camp disguised as a film festival. Samuel & Louis are amazing at running a festival that hosts 100+ filmmakers. The support they offer, particularly for short films, is pretty darn awesome. Above all else it’s just plain fun!

View Instagram Stories in Secret

The Instagram Story Viewer is an easy tool that lets you secretly watch and save Instagram stories, videos, photos, or IGTV. With this service, you can download content and enjoy it offline whenever you like. If you find something interesting on Instagram that you’d like to check out later or want to view stories while staying anonymous, our Viewer is perfect for you. Anonstories offers an excellent solution for keeping your identity hidden. Instagram first launched the Stories feature in August 2023, which was quickly adopted by other platforms due to its engaging, time-sensitive format. Stories let users share quick updates, whether photos, videos, or selfies, enhanced with text, emojis, or filters, and are visible for only 24 hours. This limited time frame creates high engagement compared to regular posts. In today’s world, Stories are one of the most popular ways to connect and communicate on social media. However, when you view a Story, the creator can see your name in their viewer list, which may be a privacy concern. What if you wish to browse Stories without being noticed? Here’s where Anonstories becomes useful. It allows you to watch public Instagram content without revealing your identity. Simply enter the username of the profile you’re curious about, and the tool will display their latest Stories. Features of Anonstories Viewer: - Anonymous Browsing: Watch Stories without showing up on the viewer list. - No Account Needed: View public content without signing up for an Instagram account. - Content Download: Save any Stories content directly to your device for offline use. - View Highlights: Access Instagram Highlights, even beyond the 24-hour window. - Repost Monitoring: Track the reposts or engagement levels on Stories for personal profiles. Limitations: - This tool works only with public accounts; private accounts remain inaccessible. Benefits: - Privacy-Friendly: Watch any Instagram content without being noticed. - Simple and Easy: No app installation or registration required. - Exclusive Tools: Download and manage content in ways Instagram doesn’t offer.
