And the craziest part? These underwater masterpieces are disappearing faster than most people realize. Coral reefs are threatened by pollution, warming oceans, and human impact every single day. It’s easy to celebrate today… but the truth is, our planet needs us every single day. We wake up each day breathing air filtered by forests, eating food grown from the land, and living thanks to oceans that produce much of the oxygen we rely on. Nature isn’t something separate from us—it’s what sustains every part of our lives. And yet, nature is something we so often take for granted.

If there’s no planet, there’s no us.
If there’s no green, there’s no blue.

Out here, trash doesn’t just sit… it ages. Decades of sun, salt, and storms have turned discarded plastics so brittle they crumble at the touch breaking them down into microplastics we can’t even see.

We found the usual suspects: single-use plastics, broken pieces of boats, tangled fishing gear, and hundreds of flip flops washed deep into the island. 🌊
