Huntingdale’s history is fascinating, with C.H. Alison drawing up plans for a golf course in the Australian Sandbelt from his study in England, never visiting and entrusting Sam Beriman to translate those plans to the property. After re-opening at the end of 2025, @ocmgolf added to the unique history of one of the more storied clubs in Melbourne with a dramatic overhaul to vault it back into the forefront of golf in the region. @cockingmike gives us the details on Huntingdale, and for more on the revitalized layout, read @drewharvie’s course profile on Golf Club Atlas.
