We have been quiet, but much has happened in our studio over the last few years. We’re excited to share with you some of what has been quietly taking shape.

This is Ackee House, in Portland, Jamaica — our first project on the island and the start of a hospitality project: a place to connect, gather andenjoy garden-to-table dining experiences.

Set between jungle and sea, Ackee House is about calmness, grounding, and a deep connection to place.
Sharing a first glimpse tonight, with a few moments from the job site.

La Reserva, ubicado en el corazón de la selva de Tulum, es un desarrollo de 42 departamentos que prioriza la calidad espacial sobre la densidad, ocupando solo el 37% del terreno para permitir que la naturaleza sea el principal protagonista; su composición escalonada genera jardines privados y terrazas en azotea, mientras que la orientación de los volúmenes favorece la ventilación cruzada y, junto con dobles alturas y fachadas abiertas, amplifica la relación con el exterior, llevando al límite la percepción entre interior y paisaje; lejos de imponerse, el proyecto se infiltra en la selva mediante la preservación del arbolado existente y la incorporación de vegetación nativa, consolidando una integración respetuosa con su entorno; en su interior, el uso de materiales locales como muros de chukum, concreto pulido y madera no solo responde al contexto, sino que construye una atmósfera sobria y táctil, donde la arquitectura se vuelve soporte de una experiencia espacial íntimamente vinculada al entorno

Ubicada en la jungla de Tulum, Casa Aviv se plantea como una residencia que se integra al entorno, abriéndose hacia el exterior para construir un espacio continuo, amplio y silencioso. El proyecto se organiza en dos volúmenes paralelos que albergan cuatro habitaciones —dos en planta baja y dos en planta alta—, todas con vistas hacia la vegetación y baño privado. El espacio principal de sala, comedor y cocina se desarrolla en un plano abierto a doble altura, extendiéndose hacia la piscina y el jardín mediante puertas de vidrio pivotantes de piso a techo, configurando un solo ambiente conectado con la luz natural y el paisaje. El mobiliario y las luminarias fueron diseñados específicamente para el proyecto y producidos localmente, integrándose de manera precisa a la arquitectura y reforzando su carácter funcional. Casa Aviv se define como un espacio claro y coherente, donde la relación con el entorno, la apertura espacial y la materialidad construyen una experiencia de habitar directa, cómoda y vinculada con la esencia tropical.
