Compass Collective
We are a charity supporting young refugees and people seeking asylum in the UK through the arts.
🧡

This week is Mental Health Awareness Week, and at Compass Collective, we believe every young person deserves to feel supported and given the tools to prioritise their mental health.
Our welfare team has been working behind the scenes to create a Welfare Support Guide covering a range of topics to support young people seeking sanctuary in the UK. We’re excited to share it with you soon, but this week we’d like to highlight a few pages from the mental health section.
Above all, we want to remind everyone that you are never alone 🧡🧡

Last month, our Horizons cohort headed down to Brick Lane Jazz Festival to soak up the live music, hear panel discussions from music industry leaders, and get hands-on with some kit from @nordkeyboards.
All this experience is building up to something special...
Next month, the group will take to the stage at Total Refreshment Centre, a venue that holds deep cultural roots in London’s music scene, to showcase their own creations.

These 5 International House organisations alone support over 3,000 young people in Lambeth every year.
With the sale of International House, we risk losing this vital support.
On May 7th, remember who stood by Lambeth's young people, and who didn't. More information on this on our latest carousel.

Meet Yusuf and Kensaye, who are co-creating with young, talented musicians from refugee and migrant backgrounds on our Horizons programme.
In partnership with @compasscollect and @musicactionint, and with the help of @splice, we've been guiding our young artists to experiment with sound, find their voice, explore their musical identities, and turn their ideas into amazing tracks.
We'll be showcasing some of the incredible tracks and stories that have come out of this programme next month… watch this space!

Today is the final day of term for Compass Connect! Congratulations to all 71 of our amazing Connect learners for their hard work and progress over the last 12 weeks.
We love this poem from one of our Beginners, written last week.
Every week, we bring young people together online from across the UK to learn English and join our community.
Here’s a peek at what each class has been exploring this term…
🌻 Beginners have been writing poems about their emotions while exploring comparative adjectives and prepositions
👪 Improvers have been diving into topics like family and community using different tenses, modal verbs and comparatives
🐱 Empowered Class has been taking inspiration from Stewart "Brittlestar" Reynolds' book Lessons from Cats (because wisdom comes in many forms!!)

Meet Compass Collective, a National Lottery funded youth charity that supports refugees and asylum seekers with their creative projects and professional development.
In 2025, 32 young people in Inverness and Alness took part in Film Futures, learning how to write, act, direct, film and edit their own short films - building skills and a sense of belonging along the way.
Now, thanks to £87,717 from @TNLCommunityFund, this work will continue for the next three years, creating even more opportunities for young people to tell their stories.
Just one of the projects made possible #BecauseOfYou, National Lottery players.

The Instagram Story Viewer is an easy tool that lets you secretly watch and save Instagram stories, videos, photos, or IGTV. With this service, you can download content and enjoy it offline whenever you like. If you find something interesting on Instagram that you’d like to check out later or want to view stories while staying anonymous, our Viewer is perfect for you. Anonstories offers an excellent solution for keeping your identity hidden. Instagram first launched the Stories feature in August 2023, which was quickly adopted by other platforms due to its engaging, time-sensitive format. Stories let users share quick updates, whether photos, videos, or selfies, enhanced with text, emojis, or filters, and are visible for only 24 hours. This limited time frame creates high engagement compared to regular posts. In today’s world, Stories are one of the most popular ways to connect and communicate on social media. However, when you view a Story, the creator can see your name in their viewer list, which may be a privacy concern. What if you wish to browse Stories without being noticed? Here’s where Anonstories becomes useful. It allows you to watch public Instagram content without revealing your identity. Simply enter the username of the profile you’re curious about, and the tool will display their latest Stories. Features of Anonstories Viewer: - Anonymous Browsing: Watch Stories without showing up on the viewer list. - No Account Needed: View public content without signing up for an Instagram account. - Content Download: Save any Stories content directly to your device for offline use. - View Highlights: Access Instagram Highlights, even beyond the 24-hour window. - Repost Monitoring: Track the reposts or engagement levels on Stories for personal profiles. Limitations: - This tool works only with public accounts; private accounts remain inaccessible. Benefits: - Privacy-Friendly: Watch any Instagram content without being noticed. - Simple and Easy: No app installation or registration required. - Exclusive Tools: Download and manage content in ways Instagram doesn’t offer.
Keep track of Instagram updates discreetly while protecting your privacy and staying anonymous.
View profiles and photos anonymously with ease using the Private Profile Viewer.
This free tool allows you to view Instagram Stories anonymously, ensuring your activity remains hidden from the story uploader.
Anonstories lets users view Instagram stories without alerting the creator.
Works seamlessly on iOS, Android, Windows, macOS, and modern browsers like Chrome and Safari.
Prioritizes secure, anonymous browsing without requiring login credentials.
Users can view public stories by simply entering a username—no account needed.
Downloads photos (JPEG) and videos (MP4) with ease.
The service is free to use.
Content from private accounts can only be accessed by followers.
Files are for personal or educational use only and must comply with copyright rules.
