Conservation International
Spotlighting and securing the most important places in nature for the climate, for biodiversity and for people.
For decades, @conservationorg Vice Chair Harrison Ford has used his platform to speak with urgency about the environmental crisis and the responsibility to protect the future of our planet.
Across global stages and conservation advocacy, his message has remained consistent: science matters, nature matters, and the choices we make today will shape generations to come.
A steady voice for conservation, accountability, and the protection of both people and planet.

“Go change the world.” 🌎
That was Harrison Ford’s message during his @ArizonaStateUniversity 2026 commencement remarks as Vice Chair of Conservation International.
He spoke about the difference between passion and purpose, and reminded graduates that this is your time. Your time to build, create, lead, and protect the thing that made life possible in the first place: nature itself.
Because humanity is not above nature. We are part of it. And protecting it is foundational to our future.
Answer Harrison Ford’s call to action: How are you showing up for nature, and for yourself, today?
Because protecting nature isn’t separate from your life’s work. It’s part of it.
Conservation International Vice Chair Harrison Ford addressed @ArizonaStateUniversity’s Class of 2026, sharing a powerful message: Passion isn’t the same as purpose.
From iconic film roles to decades of environmental leadership, he reminds us that people’s well-being depends on a healthy planet.

As conservationists, we wear many hats — scientist, advocate, protector, problem-solver, communicator.
But this #MothersDay, we see our work through a different lens: through the eyes of the next generation, who remind us why it matters most.
The future of conservation and protection is data-driven, and it’s here.
The Mountains to Mangroves Atlas, a first-of-its-kind public access platform that brings together biodiversity data, climate modeling, hydrological insights, and community knowledge into a single, interactive interface, is now live.
Designed to move beyond static maps, it enables users to visualize ecological connectivity, identify high-impact restoration zones, and make evidence-based decisions grounded in both science and field realities.
From source to sea, every layer of data works together to guide measurable impact.

NEW STUDY CRACKS OPEN THE MYSTERY OF THE WORLD’S LARGEST FISH
For a decade, @konservasiid, Conservation International’s in-country partner, tracked the movement of 70 Indo-Pacific whale sharks across the high seas.
Now, we have new clues for how to protect them.
This latest study found wayward migrations that may explain how an animal this large eluded scientists for years, with adults seeking deeper waters for hunting and parturition.

What sparks a lifelong commitment to conservation?
For Trond Larsen, Senior Director of Biodiversity and Ecosystem Science at Conservation International, it was a hidden Andean stream once filled with unusual frogs — creatures he would later return to find gone forever.
We’re thrilled to bring you the latest installment of My ‘Why’, our series about the unexpected twists and turns that led people to choose conservation as their calling. These are real-life journeys – sometimes hair-raising, sometimes humorous, always heartfelt – told by the people who lived them.
A new tool for conservation is on the horizon.
Across the Eastern Himalayas, landscapes are deeply connected, yet the data to understand and protect them has long been scattered. That’s about to change.

The data-driven roadmap for the Eastern Himalayas is coming soon.

There are many forces and inspirations behind conservation, but at its core, the greatest force is people — the individuals who care, act, and keep showing up for our planet.
This #EarthMonth we celebrated #HumanPowered conservation and what YOU help make possible.
Thank you for being part of our @ConservationOrg community on #EarthDay and every day.
Janeth Piaguaje, a Siekopai woman from the Secoya Remolina community in Ecuador, grew up in a territory rich in biodiversity, where the charapa turtle was a constant presence in the rivers. But pollution, hunting and egg harvesting decimated the once thriving turtle populations.
With support from @Ci.Ecuador and @ConservationOrg’s Amazonia Indigenous Women’s Fellowship, Janeth is working to bring the charapa turtle back – monitoring nests, protecting eggs, and helping to raise hatchlings up before releasing them.
She’s giving the turtles a fighting chance and bringing the next generation along, making sure the children in her community can grow up understanding why protection matters.
From the Siekopai territory and beyond, conservation is #HumanPowered. And this #EarthDay, we’re celebrating the people and communities leading the way.

These days we often talk about what AI can solve but what really drives change is people.
Their knowledge of place. Their courage to act. Their commitment to what matters most.
Join us this #EarthDay and help support Conservation International’s #HumanPowered efforts to prevent deforestation, protect biodiversity and restore ecosystems around the world. And you’ll MAKE 4X THE IMPACT, thanks to a generous match from our Leadership Council, up to US$50,000.
We can achieve incredible things when we act boldly, together.
More than 4 million trees. That’s what it looks like when the communities of Madagascar’s Lake Alaotra came together to fight for a healthier future.
Around Lake Alaotra, also known as Madagascar’s rice bowl, deforestation left the land vulnerable, with erosion threatening the fields that generations of families have depended on for their harvests and livelihoods.
Together with support from @ConservationOrg Madagascar and @Mastercard’s #PricelessPlanet Coalition, the Governorate, DREDD Alaotra-Mangoro and DRAE Alaotra-Mangoro, communities are restoring these lands, replanting forests, reclaiming soil and building resilience that will carry on.
In Lake Alaotra and beyond, conservation is #HumanPowered. And this #EarthMonth, we’re celebrating the people and communities leading the way.
The Instagram Story Viewer is an easy tool that lets you secretly watch and save Instagram stories, videos, photos, or IGTV. With this service, you can download content and enjoy it offline whenever you like. If you find something interesting on Instagram that you’d like to check out later or want to view stories while staying anonymous, our Viewer is perfect for you. Anonstories offers an excellent solution for keeping your identity hidden. Simply enter the username of the profile you’re curious about, and the tool will display their latest Stories. Features of Anonstories Viewer: - Anonymous Browsing: Watch Stories without showing up on the viewer list. - No Account Needed: View public content without signing up for an Instagram account. - Content Download: Save any Stories content directly to your device for offline use. - View Highlights: Access Instagram Highlights, even beyond the 24-hour window. - Repost Monitoring: Track the reposts or engagement levels on Stories for personal profiles. Limitations: - This tool works only with public accounts; private accounts remain inaccessible. Benefits: - Privacy-Friendly: Watch any Instagram content without being noticed. - Simple and Easy: No app installation or registration required. - Exclusive Tools: Download and manage content in ways Instagram doesn’t offer.
