On this month’s episode of @continuumsounds on @dublab I’ll be joined by special guest @dan_dara_kr from the Seoul-based @more_breaks_kr crew. Tune in this Saturday, October 25 from 6 to 8 p.m. PDT for two hours of breakbeats and bass from across the continuum.

Then Friday at the @thelovesongbar it’s @deadseankennedy celebrating his new full length on @sidehatch.___, plus @druthadude pulling a double shift with @refuge.landmark.

As Juneteenth and ICE raids, Pride month, mass movements and violent suppression converge, we’re reminded that all music reflects the political circumstances of its creation. Electronic music (the good kind anyway) is built upon layers of cultural exchange. Those who believe they can restrict expression and stop people from pursuing their own freedom and safety are the enemy.

@continuumsounds returns to the @stowawaydtla on Thursday March 13 with your monthly dose of modern jungle, plus current and classic flavors from the worlds of drum & bass, UK garage and broken beat. This month, LA’s own modular wizard @varial_flip, drops in behind the decks with his new mixtape alongside M27 still hot off the presses. Plus hardware technician @iamdatenite will be in selector mode showcasing her funky and futuristic sound. Series regulars @drowncast , @deadseankennedy and @motoristmusic round out the night.
