We had an even dreamier zone we were planning to ski the other morning, but had to change plans when a cornice fall triggered a D2 and wiped out most of the zone. We immediately called off our objective and set down in a safe place to dig some pits. It was a bit of a frustrating moment but we all collectively decided to just slow down and hit the reset button. After studying the snow structure we decided we could still try to ski something decent, but needed to look for smaller lines with clean entrances, clean exits, and limited cornice exposure. We got lucky and a few moments later spotted this beaut of a zone from the air. I was originally drawn to ski something on the lookers right side, but then I saw some snow texture that looked too dreamy to pass up. I ended up dropping in on this line at 12:22pm. It felt so good to get a little mini spine grind in before the snow warmed up and old man winter bid us farewell

The shred vortex is real 🤝

Which is making life feel unreal.. After sending it to AK for NST I sent it strait back to Canada thinking I’d go Brap around Revy. Then I got the call from @mspfilms that I could join their @whistlerheliskiing crew as long as I could be at the heli port ready to go at 7am the next morning. I ended up driving 12 hours to Pemberton and got into town in the middle of the night. After 2 hours of sleep, I got up and sent it to the heli port to join @markabma @jrollins01 & @dylansiggers 🙌 I felt like I was dreaming when we got out of the heli and looked at these spines.

“This is way too gnarly of a warm up” I thought to myself. Then I let the crew know I didn’t know if I was feeling it and they should pick any lines they want. Then Siggers opened the zone up and got us all fired up by lacing his line. I spotted an entrance to a line that I liked and decided to ride the momentum and trust my skill set. Since it was my first run in Whis area in over a year I made a plan to stick to a strait air off the spine exit. Then I saw the diving board and without ever really thinking about doing a 3, all the sudden I was in the air doing one. What a crazy sport. Thanks MSP and crew for an epic strike mission 🙌
