I haven’t found the exact words to talk about this project since its final episode in February. It’s a zoomer comedy that is supposed to encapsulate what it felt like to be a young adult in the 2020s of South Texas. I was fortunate enough to make this show with two of my best friends, some incredibly supportive producers, a stellar crew, and impeccable cast. This whole experience was a labor of love, you can tell from how rough around the edges this entire series feels. I wouldn’t trade that experience for the world. I just wanted to post this and finally close the book on the experience, but to more importantly implore people to watch. We made this with zero-to-no budget, usually one light and a mf dream. I haven’t found the exact words to talk about this project since its final episode in February. It’s a zoomer comedy that is supposed to encapsulate what it felt like to be a young adult in the 2020s of South Texas. I was fortunate enough to make this show with two of my best friends, some incredibly supportive producers, a stellar crew, and impeccable cast. This whole experience was a labor of love, you can tell from how rough around the edges this entire series feels. I wouldn’t trade that experience for the world. My mom, Amy Deleon, passed away on April 14th, 2021.

I’ve never really talked about my relationship with her for most of my life, and It’s just been harder since her death. I think about my mom a lot more now than I thought of her when she was living, and that’s a terrible feeling. I’d like to think there was a younger version of my mom that would’ve been easier to get along with, or even an older version of me that could understood her struggle, this is us meeting in the middle. This is me trying to express that.

Thank you for everyone that helped make this episode. It’s been a crazy year but it’s ending strong.
