Keeping the Halloween and fall vibes alive 🎃🍂
Here’s a clip from a test shoot where I experimented with lighting and fogging a nighttime cemetery scene.

To get that eerie atmosphere, I built what’s known in the film world as a “tube of death” - basically long plastic ducting with holes punched every few feet to disperse fog evenly across the set. I actually had to run two separate tubes to keep up with the wind that night.

For the moonlight source, I used a 56’ boom lift to fly two @aputure.lighting 1200Ds and a 1200X over the treeline. The last few frames show my visual inspiration from @wednesdaynetflix and @strangerthingstv.

This ended up being one of the most challenging lighting tests I’ve ever done, but I really like how it turned out. Huge shoutout to the cast and crew who made it possible 🫶
