That’s right if you commented MONEY you will GET THE MONEY it was always that simple and I resent all the scam investigations I had to field in the run up.

So what’s Get The Money about? Well believe it or not with how heavy handed this marketing campaign has been, it’s about getting the money and keeping the money. Similar to Money Talks but yet also different.

This song has always meant a lot to me given it was written for Lewis’ old band The Buzzard Orchestral, it’s such a full circle moment that it’s finally come out!

Get The Money is on quite literally every major and minor music service out. You can play it on your Samsung Smart Fridge, finally the use case Samsungs marketing team has been begging for!

When I dug this song out from the archives (don’t worry there’s a post coming next week about the Band of the Year Cinematic Universe) I had no idea the reception would be so overwhelming! Monuments built in our honour, massive crowds weeping in the streets, tissues running out left, right and centre, economic stresses with therapists dealing with the never ending waves of emotion people are feeling about this song describing everything they hate with capitalism.
