How did I get into verticals? (Inspired by numerous questions in DM)
To start with, I’ve never thought I’ll get there in the first place. My dream for quite some time has been (and still is) to have my dystopian series on a big streamer like Netflix. However, I’ve grown into a try believer of a vertical format and see a huge potential there.
My first experience with verticals happened in the end of 2023 when one of the directors approached be about rewriting the vertical script from China. I did the job and with the writing credits I’ve got hired as a writer to the company, which has been doing scripts for Chinese apps.
After a few months, I’ve decided to get more into the production of verticals and since then worked on 20 verticals in as line producer, 1st AD, and script supervisor.
In the beginning of this year, I’ve started a brand VertIGo under DanaProductions, with which we try to elevate the vertical storytelling and build the community with our VertIGo Vertical Mixers and LA Vertical Drama Market.
How did you get into verticals? Would love to hear your stories)
And if you want to get into verticals, join our LA Vertical Market from @vertigo_vertical_i_go as it’s one of its goals😉
Tickets in the bio😉🙌

I’ve been thinking about what to post about this edition of LA Vertical Drama Market and decided that I’d like to share some of the personal lessons it brought me.
After the first edition blast, I knew what needed to be changed/upgraded and somehow I knew that it’s going to be a success. I thought that the first time is the hardest and after that, everything should go smooth. The truth is - it shouldn’t and it’s not.
Amplifying the market meant more responsibilities and more tasks that I can ever manage within 24 hours. It implied building a team. I succeeded half way. I had two amazing women Ina and Brianna helping me with it, but it wasn’t enough. Not enough for the magnitude I’ve envisioned. I should have grown more in terms of the team but we had limited resources and even though the budget is twice as much comparing to the first edition, it still felt like bootstrapping.
At some point, I felt disappointed. So much effort put in and way less buzz, comparing to the first edition, but the thing is - those editions can’t be compared. The first one was a gamble, a trial, an idea coming to life. The second one - is the first stepping stone into building something sustainable, a brand that can outlive us. It may not be the perfect one, it may not be a financial success but it’s the first step and it’s worth it.
Grateful to have my team with me, supporting and cheering for us! This is definitely the area we’ve grown this year and have so much to grow for the next one!
Stay tuned for the next chapter!

🎬📱✨ LA Vertical Drama Market – 2nd Year Success!!! ✨📱🎬 @la_vertical_dramamarket @dana__pro @dana__productions_vertigo
Young Man Kang, LA Webfest director, visited the 2nd Annual LA Vertical Drama Market and attended the red carpet alongside founder/director Dana Protsyshak, who also served as one of the jury members for LA WEBFEST 2026.
Congratulations to Dana and her incredible team on the huge success of this year’s event! 👏🎉
The Vertical Drama Market clearly showed how fast the entertainment industry is changing. Vertical cinema is no longer just a trend — it is becoming a major part of the future of storytelling worldwide. 📲🌍
Even Netflix recently announced increased investment in vertical-style content inspired by the massive success of platforms like TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and Instagram Reels.
🎥 Why is Vertical Cinema Taking Over the World?
• 📱 Mobile-first generation — most audiences now watch content directly on smartphones.
• ⚡ Faster storytelling — vertical dramas are quick, emotional, addictive, and binge-friendly.
• 🌎 Global accessibility — creators can reach worldwide audiences instantly through social media platforms.
• 🎭 New cinematic language — directors are developing fresh visual techniques designed specifically for vertical framing.
• 💰 Lower production barriers — independent creators can produce professional content with smaller budgets and faster turnaround.
• 🚀 Social media algorithms favor short-form vertical engagement, helping projects go viral rapidly.
• 🎬 Hollywood and streaming platforms are now adapting to changing audience viewing habits.
For several years already, LA WEBFEST 2026 has proudly supported this movement through its Vertical Category, continuing to encourage creators exploring the future of digital storytelling.
The future of cinema may not only be horizontal anymore… sometimes the future fits right inside your hand. 📲✨

Seven years ago, another part of me was born - mother’s part.
A tiny little boy who came into my world to utterly change it. On maternity leave, I got back to writing, rediscovering my true self as a writer and a mother, I always wanted to be.
A boy who teaches me every day. How to love. How to negotiate. How to set the boundaries and get what you want. How to never stop learning.
Happy birthday, my dear boy ❤️

The Instagram Story Viewer is an easy tool that lets you secretly watch and save Instagram stories, videos, photos, or IGTV. With this service, you can download content and enjoy it offline whenever you like. If you find something interesting on Instagram that you’d like to check out later or want to view stories while staying anonymous, our Viewer is perfect for you. Anonstories offers an excellent solution for keeping your identity hidden. Instagram first launched the Stories feature in August 2023, which was quickly adopted by other platforms due to its engaging, time-sensitive format. Stories let users share quick updates, whether photos, videos, or selfies, enhanced with text, emojis, or filters, and are visible for only 24 hours. This limited time frame creates high engagement compared to regular posts. In today’s world, Stories are one of the most popular ways to connect and communicate on social media. However, when you view a Story, the creator can see your name in their viewer list, which may be a privacy concern. What if you wish to browse Stories without being noticed? Here’s where Anonstories becomes useful. It allows you to watch public Instagram content without revealing your identity. Simply enter the username of the profile you’re curious about, and the tool will display their latest Stories. Features of Anonstories Viewer: - Anonymous Browsing: Watch Stories without showing up on the viewer list. - No Account Needed: View public content without signing up for an Instagram account. - Content Download: Save any Stories content directly to your device for offline use. - View Highlights: Access Instagram Highlights, even beyond the 24-hour window. - Repost Monitoring: Track the reposts or engagement levels on Stories for personal profiles. Limitations: - This tool works only with public accounts; private accounts remain inaccessible. Benefits: - Privacy-Friendly: Watch any Instagram content without being noticed. - Simple and Easy: No app installation or registration required. - Exclusive Tools: Download and manage content in ways Instagram doesn’t offer.
Keep track of Instagram updates discreetly while protecting your privacy and staying anonymous.
View profiles and photos anonymously with ease using the Private Profile Viewer.
This free tool allows you to view Instagram Stories anonymously, ensuring your activity remains hidden from the story uploader.
Anonstories lets users view Instagram stories without alerting the creator.
Works seamlessly on iOS, Android, Windows, macOS, and modern browsers like Chrome and Safari.
Prioritizes secure, anonymous browsing without requiring login credentials.
Users can view public stories by simply entering a username—no account needed.
Downloads photos (JPEG) and videos (MP4) with ease.
The service is free to use.
Content from private accounts can only be accessed by followers.
Files are for personal or educational use only and must comply with copyright rules.
Enter a public username to view or download stories. The service generates direct links for saving content locally.
