New short film. Premieres tonight! Link in bio

My friend Porter and I have been supporting each other’s creative ambitions for a good part of 30 years now. First in music as DJ and MC, then remixes, music videos, products, and more. We always wanted to make movies together, and early this year it finally happened! Porter began pursuing acting more seriously, and so did I with filmmaking. We bounced a script back and forth a few times and came up with a compelling, zero budget story that could highlight his acting chops.

We called in a couple favors and shot the main scene. There was more in the story that we wanted to shoot and had setup another date for filming, but then the life changing news came…Porter had been diagnosed with cancer. We put the project on hold to focus on healing. What I didn’t know was that he was dealing with a lot of pain at the time we filmed, and he hid it well. The good news is that he is a fighter and one of the strongest people I know, and he is winning this battle after months of grueling treatment.

I used my editing skills to complete our little story with what we had already in the can. It took a little while but our first little project is complete. We hope you enjoy it. When Porter is back to full health and ready for action, we will crank out some more entertaining stories. God willing. We have some ideas cooking, and anyone that wants to collaborate, please reach out!
