Deluge/Diluvio. With @jab_garcia_ and the most incredible dress design by @gabysalasj. I had already been experimenting with red fabrics to explore the idea of lava as a metaphor of the destructive and creative force that dances in our veins. However, I needed to complementary element of agua and Gaby created a beautiful dress to play with that idea. But it needed to be more surreal, more like a waterfall inundating the entry space of @casa_pedregal. After buying half of all the blue pleated fabric en el Centro Historic, Tthis is the result of that exploration/collaboration.

Ode to Mexican Pink / Oda al color rosa mexicano... There's a shade of pink that belongs entirely to Mexico — festive, warm, alive — Luis Barragán turned it into an architectural resource: not simply decoration. Walls that "feel." /// Hay un rosa que le pertenece completamente a México — festivo, cálido, vivo. Barragán lo sabía y lo convirtió en recurso arquitectónico: no en decoración, sino emoción hecha muro.

Dancing with Architecture
To enter into deep dialogue with how the memory of a space informs the self. When invited by my friend @danieljohnsonis to dance with Barragan’s legacy, I bow to what the volcanic rock of this place invokes in me. It speaks to me of rivers of life force once liquid fire now petrified black rock, carrying the ancient memories of this Mexican land.
My body is made of the same mineral. Dancing with them is to honor what I’m made of and what I’m capable of.

When Daniel invited me to dance at Casa Pedregal for his art residency exploring the relationship between the artist and the muse and memory of place, it was the same week I had stopped breastfeeding my son after 17 months of total devotion to my own life-giving rivers.
Dancing then as an empty vessel, exhausted and in full reverence to the miraculous mothering journey: Paradoxical, monumental and beautifully mundane, to dance becomes a ritual of salvation. A spark is ignited when I’m surrendered to the current that gets active during the creative process.
And now, seeing the gorgeous photos he created is truly an honor to call him my dear friend and collaborator and that we get to see and embody the world in our own creative ways.
You can take a look at the exhibit at @tetetlanHe’s selling his beautiful pieces. DM if you’re interested in getting one for your place.

This lap around the sun was a whirlwind. Time did slow down for a month and a half in the spring healing from emergency eye surgery, but the recovery of velocity directly after seemed to make up for the slower moments prior. Experiencing life as a pirate, void of depth perception, became an invitation to connect with my internal world at the same time as interacting with the external. For the first time in my life i received the invitation to do a gallery show before I’d actually created the series to exhibit in it, and thus a large chunk of this year has involved the creation of a new body of work in one of the most famous houses in all of Mexico, which i’m revealing to the world tmrw. I experienced falling in love for the first time in my life, and i jumped off a cliff to see if it would work - then felt the smashing-against-the-rocks heartbreak of not being reciprocated in that. However, I emerged from that with my heart even more open and alive. This year I started therapy in Spanish, which after three years of daily writing my morning pages en español, i realized that i now process my inner world more in a language that is not my mother tongue, but one that has quickly become one of my heart. Through that I’ve been accompanied with a lot of love and wisdom while experiencing a beautiful death to some old identities and cultivating the evolution of new ones. I’ve been in that age-old confrontation of the paralyzing doubts about my art and worthiness, and each time emerging a little more clearheaded and confident about what i have to give to the world. And I’ve had the extreme fortune to have now lived in Mexico City for the past three and a half years, and I fall more in love with this país y su gente cada día más. Bueno. Feliz cumpleaños a mi. Thanks for being in my life - you know who you are.

View Instagram Stories in Secret

The Instagram Story Viewer is an easy tool that lets you secretly watch and save Instagram stories, videos, photos, or IGTV. With this service, you can download content and enjoy it offline whenever you like. If you find something interesting on Instagram that you’d like to check out later or want to view stories while staying anonymous, our Viewer is perfect for you. Anonstories offers an excellent solution for keeping your identity hidden. Instagram first launched the Stories feature in August 2023, which was quickly adopted by other platforms due to its engaging, time-sensitive format. Stories let users share quick updates, whether photos, videos, or selfies, enhanced with text, emojis, or filters, and are visible for only 24 hours. This limited time frame creates high engagement compared to regular posts. In today’s world, Stories are one of the most popular ways to connect and communicate on social media. However, when you view a Story, the creator can see your name in their viewer list, which may be a privacy concern. What if you wish to browse Stories without being noticed? Here’s where Anonstories becomes useful. It allows you to watch public Instagram content without revealing your identity. Simply enter the username of the profile you’re curious about, and the tool will display their latest Stories. Features of Anonstories Viewer: - Anonymous Browsing: Watch Stories without showing up on the viewer list. - No Account Needed: View public content without signing up for an Instagram account. - Content Download: Save any Stories content directly to your device for offline use. - View Highlights: Access Instagram Highlights, even beyond the 24-hour window. - Repost Monitoring: Track the reposts or engagement levels on Stories for personal profiles. Limitations: - This tool works only with public accounts; private accounts remain inaccessible. Benefits: - Privacy-Friendly: Watch any Instagram content without being noticed. - Simple and Easy: No app installation or registration required. - Exclusive Tools: Download and manage content in ways Instagram doesn’t offer.
