It’s a beautiful but somehow, at the same time, heartbreaking #compsday. My copies of the fifth and final issue of Voyeur have arrived —as usual, a wonderfully edited and printed set of books. It’s the final sendoff for Maddie and Rook, that now live in my mind and heart forever. Hard to express how grateful I am to @jamie_s_rich , @filipsablik, @bresarpy, @noraisaborea, @jerhaun and all the lovely team at @ignitionpress for the patience and support. Thank you SO MUCH to the magnificent @evadlcruz.colorist for elevating every. Single. Page of this book, what a luxury. And to @handaxe… well, you know, partner. You’re the best. Just saw that the variant cover I drew for Doomquest #3 has been revealed! Colorwork by the mighty and magnificent @aburtov! Slide for the lineart and slide deeper into the gallery for... the design for Doom's armor! This was a fun one. The briefing said that these guys would have some Knull-specific augmentations... and my 80's fan brain went automatically to Doom's chest plate from Secret Wars, the one he design to collect and control the Beyonder's power. So that would be my augmentation, the chestplate. I put that through my personal filter for Doom when he designs: brutal, overwhelming efficiency with not much thought put on finesse or aesthetics. So my Void-channelling chess plate would be a cross between a black hole and a reactor. And there you go! Behold DOOM!!! #DoctorDoom #Doom #variantcover #Marvel #Knullbusters #comicart #digitalart
