After 15 years, we are back! 🎉 The iconic indie sleaze anthem “Beaches & Friends” by @frenchhornrebellion & @databasetrax just dropped its anniversary edition, and it’s OUT NOW! This isn’t just a re-release; it’s a full-on celebration, featuring mind-blowing new remixes from the legendary Brazilian duo Tropkillaz (whose remix was originally produced a decade ago!) Since Trop has been changing their sound throughout the years, and also the always-vibe-setting Sugar Hill.
Remember that OG 2009 moment when “Beaches & Friends” smashed the Hype Machine charts? It was more than a track; it was a movement. Kicking off as a 4-track EP with killer mixes and remixes from The Twelves and Hey Champ, this song ignited a fire that led to the infamous 30-show “Midnight Cowboys” US tour, immortalized as an epic series by MTV Brasil.
