For this issue, we step inside one of the most defining moments in South African fashion history as David Tlale transforms Johannesburg’s Sandton Gautrain Station into a living runway experience. What was once a space of movement and routine became a cinematic stage for African luxury, innovation, and storytelling.

Through our lens, we documented every layer of the experience, from backstage anticipation and model interviews to the atmosphere on the platforms, the arrival of the trains, and the energy that moved through the station all night. More than a runway show, this was a cultural statement about how African fashion continues to redefine space, presentation, and global relevance.
