There’s very little Elton John hasn’t done in his six decades-long career. This week the legendary British musician is preparing to tread new ground: the release of his first-ever dance music remix album.

Speaking ahead of the drop, @eltonjohn remembers his days as a regular at legendary nights at New York’s Studio 54, Crisco Disco and Le Jardin, in conversation with @theblessedmadonna.

‘Positiva Presents: Elton John – The Remixes’ will arrive via @positivarecs this Saturday on Record Store Day 2026, April 18, in the form of a limited edition glow-in-the-dark green vinyl LP, becoming available digitally the next day.

The album features reworks of classic hits such as ‘Don’t Go Breaking My Heart’, ‘Cold Heart’, ‘Hold Me Closer’ and of course, ‘Rocket Man’, from producers including Purple Disco Machine, Pnau, Roger Sanchez, Claptone, KDME and The Blessed Madonna.
