A powerful way to support a book is through preorders. Graywolf and indie BookPeople and I have joined forces in this strange new world of 2026 publishing to offer gifts for preordering my novel Earth 7! If you order my book from BookPeople by June 9, you will receive these: 🌷
1. A personalized signed book 2. A couple of cool original vintage postage stamps featuring the 1960s and 70s space age! 3. Two beautiful Earth 7 themed post cards designed by artist @ehaidle 4. A small camping compass like the one the protagonist carries (Useful in the apocalypse) 5. An extra little surprise for true retro-space-age nerds. 🛸 Follow the link in my bio to BookPeople to preorder and get this small emergency kit to stay in touch and find your way home at the end of the world. 🌎🚀⭐️💕

“During this time of increased violence against the most vulnerable members of our communities and against those who insist on bearing witness, the role of independent publishers that champion the voices of people of color is vital. Their lively functioning—imperiled by the dismantling of federal funding and institutional attacks on diversity—is crucial to the maintenance of our vibrant literary landscape and our democratic chorus. Host Publications, has demonstrated an abiding support of queer and BIPOC writers for decades and offers inspiring and concrete visions for how to meet our current moment.” - Poet and CLMP Board Member Deborah Paredez

It was my honor and privilege to write an insanely long review of Patrick Cottrell’s second novel for beloved Bookforum. His first and second novels are gorgeous doppelgängers of each other. If the first is a study of grief, the second is a search for authenticity. I don’t write a lot of reviews but this was so fun and I thought so hard doing it, I think I’m going to write them a little more often. Peace, friends.

This week, George Saunders (!!!) (I was truly not expecting this) wrote a long, long essay about my story on his Substack, StoryClub. And now his beautiful community is talking away about it. Arguing, theorizing. I’m so honored, and also impressed by the level of conversation and depth of the responses. Substack has got something. Very grateful to be included. I took a few random screenshots of a bit of George’s essay.

How wild is it that a story of my mine is up on beloved George Saunders’s Substack! This week on Story Club he posted the story, and next week George and I riff about it! (What an honor!) George has been possibly my favorite living writer for over 25 years. How I love that man! I was in his first cohort at Syracuse. He calmed the ship and inspired us and gave us great books and he wrote them too. He was an artist and role model in all ways, and whoa did we need him. We all chilled out before him, our blood pressure lowered, we puddled and broke into smiles, and couldn’t wait to hear him talk about all things, any things. Thank you, George. You led the way and I am still following.

View Instagram Stories in Secret

The Instagram Story Viewer is an easy tool that lets you secretly watch and save Instagram stories, videos, photos, or IGTV. With this service, you can download content and enjoy it offline whenever you like. If you find something interesting on Instagram that you’d like to check out later or want to view stories while staying anonymous, our Viewer is perfect for you. Anonstories offers an excellent solution for keeping your identity hidden. Instagram first launched the Stories feature in August 2023, which was quickly adopted by other platforms due to its engaging, time-sensitive format. Stories let users share quick updates, whether photos, videos, or selfies, enhanced with text, emojis, or filters, and are visible for only 24 hours. This limited time frame creates high engagement compared to regular posts. In today’s world, Stories are one of the most popular ways to connect and communicate on social media. However, when you view a Story, the creator can see your name in their viewer list, which may be a privacy concern. What if you wish to browse Stories without being noticed? Here’s where Anonstories becomes useful. It allows you to watch public Instagram content without revealing your identity. Simply enter the username of the profile you’re curious about, and the tool will display their latest Stories. Features of Anonstories Viewer: - Anonymous Browsing: Watch Stories without showing up on the viewer list. - No Account Needed: View public content without signing up for an Instagram account. - Content Download: Save any Stories content directly to your device for offline use. - View Highlights: Access Instagram Highlights, even beyond the 24-hour window. - Repost Monitoring: Track the reposts or engagement levels on Stories for personal profiles. Limitations: - This tool works only with public accounts; private accounts remain inaccessible. Benefits: - Privacy-Friendly: Watch any Instagram content without being noticed. - Simple and Easy: No app installation or registration required. - Exclusive Tools: Download and manage content in ways Instagram doesn’t offer.
