So proud of my sister @serdayalkin for walking today at Duke University. She’s worked harder than just about anyone I know to finish her Ph.D., picking up multiple fellowships along the way. Her brain genuinely works in ways I’ll never fully understand.
Her focus is Diasporic Visions: Nuyorican Photography in the 1970s and 1980s, and watching her pour herself into this work for so many years has been incredible. Really proud of you, Dida.
