Congrats to @jamessarandis and @nicholaschalmers on this killer little surf film. Also thanks to everyone that came out to our screenings!
Looking forward to the next one boys, but can we go somewhere that is less of a meat grinder? Had a few too many rag doll endings with some unnervingly close trips around those rocks!

There are two dozen songs that make up a kind of surfing soundtrack for me. Not songs to get “amped” before paddling out. I’m not wired that way. More guided by songs that feel like surfing does, at least to the ear and the way a wave wants to be ridden. These tracks can sync up with a pre- or post-surf vibe, or even still tap into that feeling after weeks away from the water. Hard to explain, but there’s a rhythm to them: flow, timing, patience. The same things that make a good ride feel right.
The Surfer’s Journal recently asked about my all-time favorite album. Surprisingly hard to answer. How do you choose one when perfect albums are rare and the reality is I’m mostly nodding along to cherry-picked mix tapes, so to speak?
They’ll share the answer soon, but this track is a hint of where I landed. For me it ties back to a pivotal year, experiencing freedom and spreading those little wings at age 20. Fans of the music will notice it appeared on two different albums a couple years apart.
What about you? What’s your favorite record, and why? Always hunting for hidden treasures that surprise. Hundreds of thousands of tracks still out there to be experienced and plug into that 24-song playlist I’ve carried for years. Easy to get stuck in a loop, but when a 30-, 40-, or 50-year-old track hits like it was recorded last week, it really does delight.

The CI Noserider came from countless hours spent with Wayne Rich: a true master in every sense. You’d be hard-pressed to find someone with deeper experience and understanding of what goes into building a world-class surfboard, and I’m incredibly grateful he chose to share that knowledge with us. Thanks, @waynerichsurfboards, for your generosity, guidance, and for bringing me and the crew along in the process.
After wrapping up the CI Log collaboration with Wayne, we went straight back to work chasing its natural counterpart—a dedicated noserider to pair with that pocket-rocket log I still love to this day. The result is a flawless-looking beauty that helps you easily maximize time on the nose while still performing off the tail. Every curve and contour reflects a high level of experience that simply can’t be rushed or faked.
Rounding out this collaboration Wayne worked with @true_ames to create the CI Noserider fin that was R&D tested on this Noserider board design — I’ve been told by many it also goes great in their noserider boards from other shapers.
If you’re curious to check one out, come by Camp Shred in Cardiff this weekend. I’ll be there with a full lineup of Noserider and Log demos, including my personals. In fact, we will also have plenty of Mids, m23s and our other shortboards like the Mikey Shorty and our soon to be released step down the Solution. See you there.

Gave this Mid Twin for @gato_son a bit of a haircut to fit better in the barrel.
6’8 x 20 3/8” x 2 11/16”
Runs well with the BMT template for hold and drive, but we’ll keep experimenting with something leaner when the face opens up.

@gato_son is the latest BTS subject with @lograp (on YouTube)—life update and assorted quiver talk. Been stoked on collaborating and dialing in his quiver since coming aboard last September. Gato is one of the most adaptable surfers I’ve seen. Proud to be backing him at CI.

The Instagram Story Viewer is an easy tool that lets you secretly watch and save Instagram stories, videos, photos, or IGTV. With this service, you can download content and enjoy it offline whenever you like. If you find something interesting on Instagram that you’d like to check out later or want to view stories while staying anonymous, our Viewer is perfect for you. Anonstories offers an excellent solution for keeping your identity hidden. Instagram first launched the Stories feature in August 2023, which was quickly adopted by other platforms due to its engaging, time-sensitive format. Stories let users share quick updates, whether photos, videos, or selfies, enhanced with text, emojis, or filters, and are visible for only 24 hours. This limited time frame creates high engagement compared to regular posts. In today’s world, Stories are one of the most popular ways to connect and communicate on social media. However, when you view a Story, the creator can see your name in their viewer list, which may be a privacy concern. What if you wish to browse Stories without being noticed? Here’s where Anonstories becomes useful. It allows you to watch public Instagram content without revealing your identity. Simply enter the username of the profile you’re curious about, and the tool will display their latest Stories. Features of Anonstories Viewer: - Anonymous Browsing: Watch Stories without showing up on the viewer list. - No Account Needed: View public content without signing up for an Instagram account. - Content Download: Save any Stories content directly to your device for offline use. - View Highlights: Access Instagram Highlights, even beyond the 24-hour window. - Repost Monitoring: Track the reposts or engagement levels on Stories for personal profiles. Limitations: - This tool works only with public accounts; private accounts remain inaccessible. Benefits: - Privacy-Friendly: Watch any Instagram content without being noticed. - Simple and Easy: No app installation or registration required. - Exclusive Tools: Download and manage content in ways Instagram doesn’t offer.
