“The Sky is Not the Limit!” This mural came out of 3 months of brainstorming, envisioning, planning, and sweating with the amazing young women of @gswellmural Voices Her’d program 2023 and assistant teaching artists @masoneve, @alaska___black and Melanie García. We partnered with the staff, students and teachers of PS938 in Cypress Hills, Brooklyn to come up with this fun and inspiring design to encourage kids, especially little girls to take interest in STEAM subjects and highlight careers in science, math, engineering, arts and technology where women and POC are historically under represented. We settled right away on a space theme and the ideas just flowed out of us! We had a blast working on this project and I’m so proud of this crew and all of the challenges that they overcame together. At 32’ tall and 68’ wide, this mural was no small feat!

Thank you again to Groundswell for another epic opportunity and for all of the support through the design, fabrication and installation of this mammoth project! And thank you to the staff and principal at PS938 for hosting us and supporting us all summer! Also, special shout to to Sade, @evelyn_everlasting my best friend from childhoods daughter who posed for the photo reference of our scientist <3 Future STEAM professional right there!

“In Lak’ Ech” for @akumalartsfestival in Akumal, Mexico. “The earth does not belong to man, man belongs to the earth. All things are connected like the blood that unites us all. Man did not weave the web of life, he is merely a strand in it. Whatever he does to the web, he does to himself.” - chief Seattle

The reference photo I used for this mural is of my mother-in-law, Rosa Flora Choque Martínez, sharing a moment with Aurora, a yellow crowned parrot from the Amazon of Peru. They are surrounded by textiles from South America, Mexico, and Europe; the spiral, an important symbol for pre Hispanic cultures across Latin America but especially the people of Quíntana- Roo; and the Agave plant.

I want to send a huge thank you to the amazing organizers of @akumalartsfestival and all of the other talented artists that I got to share space with, especially my wall neighbors @shetukiltra_murales and @eldakpak! Espero verles todos el próximo año (o antes!) <3

“Mental Health is Communitv Health” is officially installed and living in her new home in the sky on 104th and Madison!

This mural was designed and painted with the amazing members of @cheltonloftnyc and peer specialist @felixguzman81 for the @nycmuralartsproject - a program run by @wearebcs and the Department of Health and Mental Hygiene. Over a period of 5 months, Felix and I facilitated discussions and art activities with Chelton Loft members to come up with a mural design that would reduce the stigma surrounding mental health conditions and inspire hope for recovery in those living with MI.

My dear friend and long time muse, the marvelous @nailsbyshani is the protagonist of the mural, demonstrating the self care and community support that beauty salons and barber shops offer the community. This support along with access to quality care, contact with nature, and connection to your ancestral roots are crucial to healing and the recovery process.

The black dog at Shani’s side represents the heavy depression and dark days that come and go with mental illness, and in the corner we see a young man being comforted by a friend, a drawing done by the talented@ellijahart. The plants in the mural all have healing properties: chamomile, lavender, chrysanthemums and aloe, and the phoenix represents rebirth and triumph after recovery.

This project was one of the most impactful experiences I’ve ever been privileged to participate in and I’m so grateful to all of the participants, community members, and other artists who came together to make this happen.

Thank you to our amazing community partners @ascendantnyc @elbarriosartspace and @uptowngrandcentral for supporting through out!

Thank you to the badass install dreamteam @liv.handpaints @jnovik_studios @artbygia and huge thank you to Ryan Patrick, project coordinator extraordinaire! Thank to @gswellmural @raulayalart and @reynachoquearte for those last minute supports!

A series of paintings I did for Archcare PACE Senior Life last fall. Each series was designed for each individual space with the aim of celebrating Harlem’s history and culture. The final space was installed in January and includes four canvases that highlight iconic figures in sports and music: Billy Holiday at the Lenox Lounge, “the King of the Tambales” Tito Puente, Lynette Woodard (the first female Globetrotter), and El Barrio’s own Roberto Clemente.

Part 2 of the last years project with @archcare.together.we.can for the renovation of the PACE center, a day program in east Harlem that offers activities and services for local seniors. I designed this mural to complement the dining room’s vintage diner theme with iconography from the 1950s and 60s, using archival photography to recreate scenes from the civil rights movement and Harlem’s vibrant social and cultural life of the era.

A series of paintings I created for the new rec room and chapel of the Archcare Senior Life PACE Center in Harlem. Each painting depicts a scene of togetherness, community and recreation in a geometric style and color pallet that compliments the chapel’s stained glass windows. This is one of six spaces that I created artwork for, more to come!

"The Heartbeat of Gowanus"

Teaching Artists: Kristy McCarthy & Yolande Delius
Location: 182 4th Avenue, Brooklyn NY 11217
Created in Collaboration with Fifth Avenue Committee

Created by Lead Artists Kristy McCarthy and Yolande Delius, along with 13 Groundswell youth artists, this mural honors the legacy and ongoing efforts of local community organizers who have shaped Gowanus through advocacy, resilience, and unity.

The Heartbeat of Gowanus celebrates the spirit of women-led and BIPOC-led activist movements that have long championed afforable and public housing, environmental justice, and social equity in the neighborhood.

Participants of the Voices Her'd program conducted in-depth research, community interviews, and co-design workshops with local leaders and residents, which enabled them to develop their creative expression and civic leadership skills.

Drawing from local archives, protest imagery, and stories shared by long-time Gowanus residents, the mural captures the strength and resilience of the Gowanus community while envisioning a future rooted in equity and sustainability.

Thank you to everyone who joined us last week to celebrate the unveiling of our new mural with Fifth Avenue Committee! We're always grateful for our community coming together to celebrate the amazing hard work our artists do.

My mural for the @bmtmuralfest, a beautiful gathering of local, National and international street artists that happens every spring down in Beaumont, Texas 💙 💜 🧡 💛

“Living Shorelines” captures the natural beauty of the Neches river and the Gulf of Mexico wetlands. In the face of climate change, beach erosion, and strengthening storms, the restoration of the coastal prairies, marshes and wetlands is essential for Gulf Coast resilience. This composition celebrates the natural beauty of local flora and fauna, including the great blue heron, the white American ibis, the blue mist flower, green milkweed, sugarcane plume grass and little bluestem, along with a scene of the Angelina National Forest, a hotspot for birding.

I had such an amazing time creating this piece and building with all the other artists and organizers! Huge shot out to the festival founders @jmuzacz and @minsta and the wonderful staff at CVB, Sadie, John, Bryce for taking such good care of us, the homies at @muralsupplyco, and all the sponsors, neighbors and local businesses that supported the festival and came out to cheer us on!

Beautiful gatherings like this are so important now more than ever, creating spaces for people to connect, share skills, learn about each others cultures and imagine alternative futures together. I’m honored to have been a part of this years magic and I Hope to see you all again next year, if not sooner!

View Instagram Stories in Secret

The Instagram Story Viewer is an easy tool that lets you secretly watch and save Instagram stories, videos, photos, or IGTV. With this service, you can download content and enjoy it offline whenever you like. If you find something interesting on Instagram that you’d like to check out later or want to view stories while staying anonymous, our Viewer is perfect for you. Anonstories offers an excellent solution for keeping your identity hidden. Instagram first launched the Stories feature in August 2023, which was quickly adopted by other platforms due to its engaging, time-sensitive format. Stories let users share quick updates, whether photos, videos, or selfies, enhanced with text, emojis, or filters, and are visible for only 24 hours. This limited time frame creates high engagement compared to regular posts. In today’s world, Stories are one of the most popular ways to connect and communicate on social media. However, when you view a Story, the creator can see your name in their viewer list, which may be a privacy concern. What if you wish to browse Stories without being noticed? Here’s where Anonstories becomes useful. It allows you to watch public Instagram content without revealing your identity. Simply enter the username of the profile you’re curious about, and the tool will display their latest Stories. Features of Anonstories Viewer: - Anonymous Browsing: Watch Stories without showing up on the viewer list. - No Account Needed: View public content without signing up for an Instagram account. - Content Download: Save any Stories content directly to your device for offline use. - View Highlights: Access Instagram Highlights, even beyond the 24-hour window. - Repost Monitoring: Track the reposts or engagement levels on Stories for personal profiles. Limitations: - This tool works only with public accounts; private accounts remain inaccessible. Benefits: - Privacy-Friendly: Watch any Instagram content without being noticed. - Simple and Easy: No app installation or registration required. - Exclusive Tools: Download and manage content in ways Instagram doesn’t offer.
