It’s been a real pleasure to have @dicksonmbi back at DanceEast over the 2 weeks, as he and his team prepare for a sold-out premiere performance of TELLUS, their newest production.
Dickson has a long-standing history with DanceEast. Today, before his Watch Dance Class, we spoke to him about how it feels to back in the familiar building of the Jerwood DanceHouse.
We can’t wait to see what he (and his incredible crew) have been creating tomorrow!

We are in the last stages of preparation before tomorrow’s UK premiere of our brand new work TELLUS at @danceeast
Tomorrow’s show is completely sold out, but don’t miss the show over two nights at @the_lowry next week

TELLUS
A brand new dance production by Dickson Mbi Company
📍 9-10 February, @the_lowry, Salford
Dickson Mbi wants to tell his son a bedtime story. But this is not just any story: it’s an epic drawing from Mbi’s Cameroonian heritage and inspired by the mythical deity Mami Wata. Dancers fuse physicality and grace, whilst Mbi’s immersive score takes you from gentle lullaby to stirring chants. TELLUS is more than a performance – it’s a ritual to reconnect with the quiet, powerful source of everything: our Earth, our past, our mother.

🌿 A plea to the Earth – TELLUS
In TELLUS, Olivier Award-winning choreographer Dickson Mbi @dicksonmbi offers a poetic apology to our mothers and to the Earth for the destruction humankind has caused – and a plea for renewal.
Drawing from the myth of Mami Wata, the spirit of water and life, Mbi celebrates the women who shaped him and reflects on nature’s power to nurture and to destroy. A breathtaking fusion of myth, movement, and emotion – created partly in residence at schrit_tmacher in Theater Kerkrade.

If you find something interesting on Instagram that you’d like to check out later or want to view stories while staying anonymous, our Viewer is perfect for you. Anonstories offers an excellent solution for keeping your identity hidden. Instagram first launched the Stories feature in August 2023, which was quickly adopted by other platforms due to its engaging, time-sensitive format. Simply enter the username of the profile you’re curious about, and the tool will display their latest Stories. Features of Anonstories Viewer: - Anonymous Browsing: Watch Stories without showing up on the viewer list. - No Account Needed: View public content without signing up for an Instagram account. - Content Download: Save any Stories content directly to your device for offline use. - View Highlights: Access Instagram Highlights, even beyond the 24-hour window. - Repost Monitoring: Track the reposts or engagement levels on Stories for personal profiles. Limitations: - This tool works only with public accounts; private accounts remain inaccessible. Benefits: - Privacy-Friendly: Watch any Instagram content without being noticed. - Simple and Easy: No app installation or registration required. - Exclusive Tools: Download and manage content in ways Instagram doesn’t offer.
