Southall timeline in motion ✨

From Cleo Laine to the rise of British Bhangra with Kuljit Bhamra, to tracks like Hai Hai by Panjabi Hit Squad , this bridge carries sound as much as story.
.
The disco ball sits right at the centre. Thanks to @jonibelaruskiofficial 🙌🏽✨️
A nod to dance floors, Punjabi Disco, to sound systems, and spaces like the Tudor Rose, where music, identity and community came together.
.
From reggae roots to bhangra beats, from protest to celebration,Southall has always moved to its own rhythm.
.
Also looks it best at night in my opinion!

Here for the whole duration, not only did she paint the best disco ball, which in my opinion is my favourite bit... she also powered thru and helped paint the portraits, helping me bring the design to life.
