Tomorrow night I’ll be bringing a selection of my favorite records to @openform__space from 7-11pm for the launch of L*ft — a new series centered around intentional listening, natural wine, and thoughtfully curated sound.

We’re partnering with our friends @glasswingshop and will be a featured destination for the @pikepinesocial community activation. I’ll also be joined by my friend @natethousand.fingers, who will be bringing records from his collection and playing alongside me throughout the night.

Here’s a glimpse into the records I’ve pulled from the shelves for the occasion (might have overdone it. what’s new).

This will be a slightly different kind of experience — less dance party, more listening room + movement. The music will be the focal point: immersive, eclectic, and carefully paced to unfold over the course of the night. Expect everything from slow-burning quiet storm and neo-soul to warm global grooves, indie, psychedelia, and beyond.

We’ll be setting the decks up in the center of the room “in the round,” with a casual living room energy designed to bring people closer to the music — and each other.

Wine flowing, seating, standing and moving room throughout. Bring your ears, your people, and settle in.
