I don't post too much about my personal life on here, but I felt compelled to share about my amazing mom, Judith Ghent, who we lost on Jan 2nd, 2026 battling Alzheimer's. My mom was a singer/songwirter/artist/poet and the most amazing person. I credit her and my dad for setting me on my path musically and creatively, and I wouldn't be the person I am today without her kindness, wisdom, unconditional love and support.
Her kids always came first, even at the expense of her own creative endeavors, which I didn't realize until my later years what a sacrifice that must have been. I'm extremely sad that the world never got to hear her music and poetry when she was alive but I'm grateful that my dad made an effort to document these things at a time when it took a much larger effort than today. I hope that some day her works will be able to be enjoyed by the world. She was a beautiful soul and wanted nothing more than to share her joy with others.
