Peace & Much Love to @teacha_krsone for his powerful tune “Black Black Black” off his impactful album “Between Da Protests.” Felt motivated to bring this up for more people to see, since music gets discarded quickly these days or perhaps you were unaware that KRS has made soooo many quality tunes beyond that “sound of the police” clip that seems to be sampled endlessly, as if the culture only recognizes the pig whistle as relevant.

On a note of “culture,” I’m sick of it. McKenna was correct in stating “culture’s not your friend.” It acts as a domestication agent to pacify disgruntled peoples into obedience. Where’s music for the revolution? Too many seem satisfied & deactivated so long as they can get out to the clerb every weekend. Why care about other’s plights when your bank account seems fine? Pure complacent cowardice. If we’re all just gonna party during the apocalypse, how can anyone claim to be better than the abusers in charge? How many so called musicians, so called comedians mislead many into thinking they were angelic, on the side of justice; only to turn around revealing their puppet strings to the death cult are stronger than ever?

It’s gross.. I can’t even curse proper on these platforms out of concern for not being seen or heard F✌️K THAT. Also F✌️K all these “news agencies” bleeping the powerful pain of those in the protest right now making their voices heard. I’m sik of it all! It’s grotesque, & what so maybe we’ll get a chance of recognition, stability? All illusions of gambling granted to you by the overseers, programmed into you by the hypnotizing hymn of culture.

On the topic of unity, I need to make a special shoutout to @mz2phresh for not only having the vision, but the pure tenacious love to create a sustainable home for the underground. If you’ve enjoyed the bass music scene in the past decade, Nicole has no doubt played a massive role in making it possible. Her team at @submission works tirelessly to ensure authentic events. Something that always struck me about The Black Box is the audience’s deep appreciation for the sound. Most venues have distracted party-goers, while this beautiful vortex pulls in genuinely curious souls. I have more words to express than IG will allow, but let me say this:

Mystically magikal moments with magnificent movers-&-shakers

This was our 5yr anniversary & it was truly spectacular!! After unexpectedly getting recruited to assist at both Pretty Lights Yahn Dawn & Tipper at The Gorge, returning to CO I had limited time to put the pieces together for UTM. The new stage design “The All Seeing Eye” had me burning the midnight oil going thru rolls of black masking tape & duct tape the night before the fest, hoping it would all come together despite the limitations. Thankfully I get by with a little help from my friends, they did a stellar job establishing the stage, locking in the sound; that glowing moon was mesmerizing✨🌙✨

Was fortunate to perform multiple times over the weekend. From a late night Hip Hop intermission set, to an afternoon Sunset Stasis set, to an EPIC B2B2B with my buds @killianaire & @subculturebass that lasted +7hrs!!! Immense love for my friends, they really make life special. The way forward is often murky, but I find the best clarity when we collaborate as a community, able to achieve things I could have only dreamed of!

Ultra yuge shoutouts to @originalbanandy creator of @underthemoon_official who warmly welcomed me into their crew 4yrs ago. These were precisely the peaceful party people I was searching for! This was our 5yr anniversary & it was truly spectacular!! After unexpectedly getting recruited to assist at both Pretty Lights Yahn Dawn & Tipper at The Gorge, returning to CO I had limited time to put the pieces together for UTM. The new stage design “The All Seeing Eye” had me burning the midnight oil going thru rolls of black masking tape & duct tape the night before the fest, hoping it would all come together despite the limitations. Thankfully I get by with a little help from my friends, they did a stellar job establishing the stage, locking in the sound; that glowing moon was mesmerizing✨🌙✨

Was fortunate to perform multiple times over the weekend. From a late night Hip Hop intermission set, to an afternoon Sunset Stasis set, to an EPIC B2B2B with my buds @killianaire & @subculturebass that lasted +7hrs!!! Immense love for my friends, they really make life special. The new stage design “The All Seeing Eye” had me burning the midnight oil going thru rolls of black masking tape & duct tape the night before the fest, hoping it would all come together despite the limitations. Thankfully I get by with a little help from my friends, they did a stellar job establishing the stage, locking in the sound; that glowing moon was mesmerizing✨🌙✨

Was fortunate to perform multiple times over the weekend. From a late night Hip Hop intermission set, to an afternoon Sunset Stasis set, to an EPIC B2B2B with my buds @killianaire & @subculturebass that lasted +7hrs!!! Immense love for my friends, they really make life special. The way forward is often murky, but I find the best clarity when we collaborate as a community, able to achieve things I could have only dreamed of!

Ultra yuge shoutouts to @originalbanandy creator of @underthemoon_official who warmly welcomed me into their crew 4yrs ago. These were precisely the peaceful party people I was searching for! These friends are phenomenal beyond words & I’m forever grateful they welcomed me so earnestly. Another enormous shoutout to @slowform.music who introduced me to everything Under the Moon. I’ve followed her consistent effort to create a unique sound, & happily it led directly to the space I feel most open within. Love all my creatives, you give me hope amidst the darkest of times. IG posts are truly insufficient to express my full gratitude (had over +200 pics & videos) but I hope this gives you a quick sample of what it’s like to build with the people you love, it’s a level of ecstasy that can be achieved in no other way!! This is such a massive milestone it’s hard to put into words. Back in 2013 when I arrived to study Hydroponics at CU Boulder, I was unaware what massive bass waves were rippling out from the epicenter of Denver. I found out quickly as amazingly Dubstep had shows all over the map! I was isolated on the east coast listening to 16-Bit wondering if anyone else dug these chunes. Cut to Boom Festival at The1stBank Center which hosted legendary acts like Excision, Deltron 3030, Cookie Monsta, Funtcase, & more, clearly showing I was not alone. At the bottom of that flyer was a group called “Sub.Mission,” but it wouldn’t be until 2016 when working in the nightclub scene as a VJ that I found out what their mission was all about, “moving people thru sound not hype.” I learned about the legend of Nicole Cacciavillano, how she started a night for the community & how it exploded into an entirely new venue with artists all across the map with high caliber sounds. I would dream of the days when I could go to The Black Box listening to Ternion Sound’s Yellow & Grey VIP on the way to my graveyard shift at the hotel. Feverishly worked on music all night on my laptop while juggling hotel guests just waiting for my time in the subs🔊 In 2018 @__thoughtprocess gave me my first shot at E-Tuesdays, & it was mesmerizingly compelling beyond alllll belief. FINALLY people who were here for the music. The community I’ve been able to find at The Black Box is like no other. It’s truly an honor to pilot their Mecha of Sound
