do something already obviously has a special place in my heart, being given the opportunity to give back to my community. It’s a lot of hard work, and without the support of our community I’m not sure that this organization would exist. On this #givebig we are continuing to ask for support in helping us grow this grassroots effort .

Last year GIVE BIG really helped us to fund our various programs.Every penny we receive goes to the community we serve.We are an all volunteer organization. Not a single one of us that pours our blood, sweat and tears into this organization and fulfilling our initiatives makes a dime.We exist to DO SOMETHING ALREADY, to inspire others to do the same, and to protect, support, uplift and serve our community through our initiatives and beyond.

You’re invited to Queer Social Sketch Night — a (very) casual live model drawing experience made for queer artists, beginners, and anyone who’s ever wanted to put pencil to paper with a live model.
The vibe: Doors open at 6:30. Grab a drink, grab a spot, meet your people, settle in. At 7:00, pencils out. No reserved seating.
Some supplies provided. Bring your own sketchpad or add one at checkout.
Feeling bold? Submit your sketch for consideration in an upcoming issue of Hard Times, the community zine published by @do.something.already!

No Kings Rally & Protest

In October, over seven million people showed up to protest the harmful actions and policies currently being enacted in our name, making it one of the largest single-day protests in American history. Next Saturday, we stand alongside other local community organizations in a peaceful demonstration of free speech, dissent and a gathering of solidarity, loudly declaring, “In America, there are no kings.”
We’ll be at Wright Park in Tacoma.

It’s that time again.....
The 2nd Annual Julian Fund is NOW OPEN!The Julian Fund is for LGBTQIA+ Youthneeding financial support to further their artistic endeavors!
The Julian Fund seeks to carry on Julian’s legacy through the lives of LGBTQIA Youth Artists who may not have the funds or support they need to pursue their Art. It is through their works that those that loved and were touched by Julian will take great Pride for years to come.
Recipients of this award can use the funds for: supplies for official projects, payment towards tuition or books for furthering education, etc. The financial portion is just the start. Do Something Already also has some power players in the Arts and Music Industry in the PNW – recipients will also have access to mentoring and assistance from these individuals.
This individual grant is open to LGBTQIA+ individuals ages 18-23 (must be at least 18 years old on or before June 29, 2026). Applicant must have an expressed need for fund and can present report post project. Must have a community reference. Find more information on the application.
