In 1989, Funky Junkie began playing music at the then-famous Symphony Club, and from that moment on he has been spinning records in clubs and venues all over Serbia, neighboring countries, and across Europe.
With more than 40 years of experience and a massive vinyl collection, it is fair to say that Funky Junkie is one of the pioneers of the contemporary club scene in Niš and Serbia. A devoted fan of funk, jazz-funk, soul, disco-funk, Brazilian and Latin music, as well as new wave and post-punk, he has built a highly respected vinyl collection. This is the music he still loves to play today—whether solo or alongside his friend DJ Ceka The Boss, as part of the notorious duo The Funk Soul Brothers.
