Two identical capsules (headphone drivers), one facing forward and one facing back. The front of each figure 8 capsule is brighter than the rear so the three position switch gives you three tonal variations.

The Alien8 is a dynamic mic with some unique properties, lots of low end capture with a really detailed mid range. Perfect for sitting sound sources up front in the mix with little or no EQ. Kick drums and bass amps love the Alien8, on stage or in the studio.

The Gravity mic picks up vibrations from surfaces instead of sound waves through the air, giving a unique sonic perspective on sound sources.

Some Gravity mic shenanigans with Ronan Charles at @aerialrecordingstudio yesterday 👽👍 Even though the best results from the Gravity are acheived when its on a flat surface, this set up shows you can hang it on an angle and still get good sounds.

Parts are taking FOREVER to arrive for the 2nd batch of the Gravity contact mic but at this stage more should be available mid to late next week.
