HUGE PIECE IN THE TIMES TODAY!
I am delighted to see the @thetimes cover my thoughts on health in such a big way today.
We are an over-medicated country. 80-90% of what doctors see each day is in some way related to our collective modern lifestyles - yet, most of the options you get given by your doctor relate to pharmaceutical medication.
WE WILL NOT OUT-PRESCRIBE OUR WAY OUT OF THE CURRENT HEALTHCARE CRISIS - THERE HAS TO BE (AND THERE IS!!) ANOTHER WAY.
The number of prescriptions that we give out as doctors has increased by over 80 per cent in the last 20 years. And the uncomfortable truth is that a lot of the pills are simply not working.
This Thursday on @channel4 at 8pm my new 1 hour prime time documentary ‘Live Well With The Drug Free Doctor’ comes out. It is a deep dive into the healthcare crisis and I show how in 3 different conditions, type 2 diabetes, chronic pain & depression, it is possibly to completely heal without the use of medication.
Our lifestyles can be our very best medicine. That is what my entire public facing career is all about and I cannot wait for the British public to watch the Channel 4 show this Thursday evening at 8pm.
Let me know your thoughts below and if you plan on watching this Thursday, drop me a ❤️ below!

❤️ A SPECIAL MOMENT
My mum is an absolute legend and it’s always a special moment to show her a finished copy of one of my books - this time, the new version of ‘Happy Mind, Happy Life’.
My dad died in 2013 so never got to see a single one of my books. And, there have been times over the past few years when I didn’t think she’d be around to see the publication of any more.
It really is a special moment to show your parents something that you have worked on for so long - especially, when they have been such a positive influence on your life. Mum (and Dad) have brought me up really well and have always taught me and showed me the importance of treating every single person with kindness and respect - and this, in turn, is something I try my best to teach my own kids.
One thing I always appreciate about my mum is how honest and direct she is with me - she never sugarcoats what she thinks and I wouldn’t want it any other way!!
Just a few days now until this version of the book is on the shelves - if you’re planning on buying it for yourself or someone in your life, let me know below!
“If I were to choose to live my life over again, I wouldn’t live it in this way.” Dr. Gabor Maté
Many of us spend so long searching for validation from others, that we can forget to enjoy the simple (and hugely important!) pleasures in life.
In this week’s INCREDIBLE podcast episode with @gabormatemd, he reflects on the perils of sacrificing these precious moments - and encourages all of us to think about how we can build more time for playfulness and joy into our lives while we can.
Are you always seeking validation? Leave a ❤️ if this resonated with you👇🏾
This is a SHORT clip from a longer conversation on this week’s ‘Feel Better Live More’ podcast with Gabor Maté. Head to Episode 440 to listen to the FULL episode and put this clip in context. You can find it by tapping on the link in my @drchatterjee bio or wherever you enjoy your podcasts.

When did you last stop and ask yourself how you’re really doing?
In today’s episode I’m joined by psychologist and performance coach Dr @pippagrange , who has spent 25 years working with some of the world’s highest performers. Her message is one I think all of us need to hear right now:
👉🏾Burnout isn’t a sign that something is broken in you. It’s a sign that something needs to change.
In this episode, you’ll discover:
- How to spot the signs that you’re over performing
- Why burnout doesn’t mean you’ve failed
- A nature-inspired framework that will help you regenerate
- Why small, daily dishonesties drain your energy
- What coming home means and how to do it
Pippa’s wisdom today is for all of us – particularly anyone who feels like they’re running on empty, or that the way they’re living isn’t working for them anymore
If you tune in, I’d love to know what you take away from our conversation ❤️

Are you feeling burnt out or know someone who is? This might be worth a listen ❤️
Burnout conversations often stop at the diagnosis but in this week’s new episode of my Feel Better, Live More podcast, renowned psychologist and performance coach @pippagrange offers something much rarer: a viable, practical alternative to giving up.
Having seen burnout in many patients over the years, I know it’s one of those things that’s hard to comprehend until you’re in the midst of it. But in our conversation, Pippa shares how you can spot the signs before it’s too late.
And that you CAN make meaningful change from within your life, rather than trying to escape it. And this conversation will show you how.

The words we use on a daily basis are either empowering us or holding us back. And the good news? With a little intention, they can be changed.

Seeing the first group of you starting your journey with @dohealth.co has been incredibly special 🤎
If you’re already in the app, there’s plenty more coming your way very soon- including some new content we’ve just created for you.
This is something I’ve been quietly working on for a long time - shaped by over 20 years as a medical doctor, where I saw so many people struggling. Not because they didn’t care, but because the advice they were given simply didn’t fit their lives.
What works for one person doesn’t work for everyone.
If you’re on the waitlist, thank you for your patience. We’re gradually welcoming people in and continuing to improve the experience as we go. It will be worth the wait.
And if you’re not joined, comment "WAITLIST" and you will get the link.
Still have a question about it all? Drop them below!

Do you think the arts are valued enough in education today? I’d love to hear your thoughts 👇🏾
In this week’s NEW episode of my ‘Feel Better, Live More’ podcast, Professor Daisy Fancourt makes a case that I think will resonate with parents, teachers and anyone who cares about the next generation’s health.
We’ve known for years that nutrition, movement and sleep are essential for children’s wellbeing. But Daisy’s research suggests that arts engagement belongs in exactly the same conversation, with profound effects on mental health, cognitive development and long-term physical health that follow children all the way into adulthood.
Throughout our conversation, Daisy shares many ways we can get back in touch with the arts so that we can all start experiencing those benefits for ourselves.

True communication isn’t just about the words we use. It’s about the tone, timing and energy behind them. And sometimes, being polite can actually get in the way of being honest.
@jefferson_fisher is a trial lawyer and one of the world’s leading voices on the art of communication, and we had a fascinating conversation about what it really means to communicate well, whether that’s with your partner, your colleagues or the people you love most. Because what people say is often only the tip of the iceberg.
This isn’t just an episode about talking. It’s about how to listen better, show up with more intention, and move from conflict to connection, one breath, one moment, one conversation at a time.
To hear more, search for episode 571 of my ‘Feel Better, Live More’ podcast.
Did you know that listening to music can lower blood pressure more than medication alone? Let me know if that surprises you 👇🏾
One of the things I don’t feel was emphasised enough when I was a medical student was that high blood pressure is a natural consequence of chronic stress. Any activity that helps us lower stress could also lower our blood pressure. And the arts, it turns out, are extraordinarily good at that!
In this week’s NEW episode of my ‘Feel Better, Live More’ podcast, Professor Daisy Fancourt shares research that genuinely stopped me in my tracks.
Engaging with the arts, whether that’s music, dance, crafts or simply visiting a gallery, has been shown to lower blood pressure, reduce heart rate and improve cholesterol levels. Even when diet and exercise are already accounted for.
To hear more the power of Arts on our health, tune in to episode 654 of ‘Feel Better, Live More’, OUT NOW in all the usual places. I’d love to know your thoughts if you’ve already listened!
The Instagram Story Viewer is an easy tool that lets you secretly watch and save Instagram stories, videos, photos, or IGTV. With this service, you can download content and enjoy it offline whenever you like. If you find something interesting on Instagram that you’d like to check out later or want to view stories while staying anonymous, our Viewer is perfect for you. Anonstories offers an excellent solution for keeping your identity hidden. Instagram first launched the Stories feature in August 2023, which was quickly adopted by other platforms due to its engaging, time-sensitive format. Stories let users share quick updates, whether photos, videos, or selfies, enhanced with text, emojis, or filters, and are visible for only 24 hours. This limited time frame creates high engagement compared to regular posts. In today’s world, Stories are one of the most popular ways to connect and communicate on social media. However, when you view a Story, the creator can see your name in their viewer list, which may be a privacy concern. What if you wish to browse Stories without being noticed? Here’s where Anonstories becomes useful. It allows you to watch public Instagram content without revealing your identity. Simply enter the username of the profile you’re curious about, and the tool will display their latest Stories. Features of Anonstories Viewer: - Anonymous Browsing: Watch Stories without showing up on the viewer list. - No Account Needed: View public content without signing up for an Instagram account. - Content Download: Save any Stories content directly to your device for offline use. - View Highlights: Access Instagram Highlights, even beyond the 24-hour window. - Repost Monitoring: Track the reposts or engagement levels on Stories for personal profiles. Limitations: - This tool works only with public accounts; private accounts remain inaccessible. Benefits: - Privacy-Friendly: Watch any Instagram content without being noticed. - Simple and Easy: No app installation or registration required. - Exclusive Tools: Download and manage content in ways Instagram doesn’t offer.
Keep track of Instagram updates discreetly while protecting your privacy and staying anonymous.
View profiles and photos anonymously with ease using the Private Profile Viewer.
This free tool allows you to view Instagram Stories anonymously, ensuring your activity remains hidden from the story uploader.
Anonstories lets users view Instagram stories without alerting the creator.
Works seamlessly on iOS, Android, Windows, macOS, and modern browsers like Chrome and Safari.
Prioritizes secure, anonymous browsing without requiring login credentials.
Users can view public stories by simply entering a username—no account needed.
Downloads photos (JPEG) and videos (MP4) with ease.
The service is free to use.
Content from private accounts can only be accessed by followers.
Files are for personal or educational use only and must comply with copyright rules.
Enter a public username to view or download stories. The service generates direct links for saving content locally.
