I think it's finally more than safe to post these and leave some thoughts about it.

I've been working on covers, dust jackets, special editions, etc for books for the biggest part of my career as an artist at this point and as much as I love every project I get the chance to work on, rarely do I expect to have a chance to work on something as dear to me as The Raven Cycle series by Maggie Stiefvater.

At the point of being reached out to by owlcrate for this, I'd been spending years upon years devoting myself to fanart of this group of friends who I feel as real as people and have form such an attachment to.

That's all the gushing I have in me for now but I just really wanted to have this on my profile as a marker of one of the most special times I've had as an illustrator.

Lucien carries so many scars. Whether that be emotional, physical, or mental scarring —poor guy has been through a lot.
@krssyreads_ and I wanted to show him in a sweet moment playing with a baby fox. Trying to show that Lucien is slowly trying to heal from all the scars.
