We’re excited that 𝐑𝐞𝐠𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐬 𝐇𝐲𝐛𝐫𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐬 and 𝐅𝐎𝐑𝐌 are partnering to feature two films each month from each of our collections. From Regard Hybrides, they will feature a film from their online collection, and from FORM, they will feature a film from their collection of commissioned films from the past 9 years. This collaboration is an effort to uplift and celebrate screendance/dance film works throughout the year from artists across Canada.
Only a few days left to watch 𝐼𝑛𝑢𝑖𝑡 𝐻𝑖𝑔ℎ 𝐾𝑖𝑐𝑘 (2009) by Alethea Arnaquq-Baril, a dramatic and timeless representation of an athlete performing the traditional high kick; and 𝑁𝑜𝑡ℎ𝑖𝑛𝑔 𝐶𝑎𝑛 𝑆𝑡𝑎𝑦 (2022) by Marisa Gold (@feel.the.all) and Darryl Ahye (@drlahye) a film where dance, text and natural elements come together.

Nous sommes ravi·es d’annoncer que 𝐑𝐞𝐠𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐬 𝐇𝐲𝐛𝐫𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐬 et 𝐅𝐎𝐑𝐌 s’associent pour présenter chaque mois deux films de leurs collections respectives. Regard Hybrides présentera un film de sa collection en ligne et FORM, un film commissionné au cours des 9 dernières années. Cette collaboration cherche à célébrer et à encourager la cinédanse créée par des artistes de tout le Canada.
Plus que quelques jours pour visionner l’œuvre 𝐼𝑛𝑢𝑖𝑡 𝐻𝑖𝑔ℎ 𝐾𝑖𝑐𝑘 (2009) d’Alethea Arnaquq-Baril, une représentation dramatique et intemporelle d’un athlète exécutant le coup de pied traditionnel; et 𝐴 𝑁𝑜𝑡ℎ𝑖𝑛𝑔 𝐶𝑎𝑛 𝑆𝑡𝑎𝑦 (2023) de Marisa Gold et Darryl Ahye, un film où danse, narration et éléments de la nature se rencontrent.
