Our Colour of the Year 2026 launch was nothing short of spectacular.

Today we welcomed an incredible group of guests into a world of immersive inspiration, where colour came to life.

Guests stepped into three immersive rooms, each one bringing our Rhythm of Blues to life. From the vibrant energy of Free Groove, to the calming sense of space in Mellow Flow, and the ease of Slow Swing, designed to slow the pace and recharge the spirit. Every space revealed how colour can shift the atmosphere and spark emotion.

Together, the palettes created a journey that celebrated creativity, connection, and the way colour transforms the spaces we live in.

When the Dulux Dog nook gets a makeover… you know it’s going to be good 🐾🎨

Our Creative Director Marianne Shillingford has painted the Dulux Dog her very own cosy nook – and she’s showing you exactly how to create one for your own four-legged friend.

Using shades like Bright Skies, Egyptian Cotton, Coastal Grey and Honey Nut, in our Dulux Easycare range (a washable and durable formula that’s ready for muddy paws, wagging tails and everyday life) this little space is proof that a touch of colour can make anywhere feel like home.

From first ideas to final touches, every detail’s been carefully considered (and approved by Rodney!)

Ad It’s time to reveal the finished mudroom which was created in just 5 days with a tiny budget. Luckily I have a few tricks up my sleeve to help keep costs down while maximising impact.

It was also National Pet Parents Day recently, so celebrating our pets (and our dog parent status) with a full mudroom makeover felt like the perfect project.

My go-to paint is always the Easycare Washable & Tough range from @duluxuk , I picked up my tins from my local @bm_stores , along with some important dog essentials like bowls and dryrobes.

It was a bit touch and go leading up to the final push, but I absolutely love how it turned out. The Overtly Olive on the walls brings everything together.

Plus, knowing that the air we’re breathing is as good as it can be and rated Great in terms of VOC is one of the reasons I love using Dulux Easycare paint, but also so happy to have the brand new Dulux Dog Nooku Monitor from @meetnooku to keep this mudroom in best shape. (The Nooku device is not available at B&M stores).

To celebrate National Pet Parents Day, we’ve teamed up with Pete Wicks for an exciting new collaboration... 👀

We’re recognising ‘non-traditional’ milestones such as pet parenthood, and the spaces we share with the ones who turn a house into a home 🐾

Together with Pete, we created a pet nook, inspired by his dogs Rodney and Eric (with a special nod to Peggy), blending personality with details for everyday living.

Using our Easycare range for a wipeable finish, the space is brought to life through a warm, yet durable palette of Rich Black, Natural Hessian and Soft Truffle.

And of course, Rodney (the TRUE star of the show) has given it his seal of approval!
