Jonathan Glazer’s ‘SEXY BEAST’ (2001), edited by echo’s Sam Sneade, was recently featured in The Guardian’s ‘The Seven Best Films to Watch on TV This Week’, highlighting the film’s enduring impact as a modern British classic. The film is available to watch on Channel 4.
Sam also edited the iconic 1999 Guinness ‘Surfer’ commercial, directed by Jonathan Glazer and created by AMV BBDO, which was honoured during the British Arrows 2026 celebrations, marking 50 years of British advertising. The commercial was ranked the 3rd best British ad of all time in a poll announced in March 2026.
A testament to the lasting impact of Sam’s work across both film and advertising.

We’re pleased to share that ‘MARIE MADELEINE’, featuring echo’s Director of Photography Nicolas Canniccioni, has been selected to premiere at the 2026 Cannes Film Festival.
The film is a newfeature by Gessica Généus, continuing her exploration of identity and culture.
The Cannes Film Festival runs from 12th –23rd May 2026.

‘THE CAGE’, a five-part BBC crime thriller, is now out on BBC, featuring editing by echo’s Kim Gaster on episodes 1, 3 and 5.
Written by Tony Schumacher and directed by Al Mackay, the series stars Sheridan Smith and Michael Socha. Set in Liverpool, it follows two casino workers who secretly steal from the same safe, setting off a dangerous game of survival.
‘THE CAGE’ has joined the other Guardian five-star reviews of work echo has recently collaborated on, including ‘MINT’, directed by Charlotte Regan, ‘BABIES’, written and directed by Stefan Golaszewski, ‘HALF-MAN’, and ‘LORD OF THE FLIES’, directed by Marc Munden.

We’re delighted to share the trailer for ‘SAVAGE HOUSE’, featuring Costume Design by echo’s Alex Bovaird.
Written and directed by Peter Glanz, the film is set in 18th century England during a pox outbreak and the Jacobite uprising. The film stars Richard E. Grant alongside Claire Foy as the formidable Lady Savage.
‘SAVAGE HOUSE’ is set for a cinema release on the 5th June 2026.
