Since day one of Echobox, Echobox Presents has been our monthly takeover-inviting DJs and artists from Amsterdam and beyond to showcase their sound on our airwaves.

Every month we bring you three DJs, from emerging to established.
Starting Friday March 27, you won’t just hear it - you’ll see it. Keep an eye on our socials for the artist announcement (beware: old & fresh blood from the airwaves will appear on your screen).

What begins as a listening experience turns into a rave.

For RAVE-L, Ravel’s iconic Boléro is reimagined for its 150th anniversary and gently pushed far beyond the concert hall. What starts in orchestral repetition gradually opens up into jazz, electronics and techno, until classical and club culture start to blur into one shared pulse. The young French orchestra Les Apaches ! (@ensemblelesapaches) makes its Dutch debut alongside DJ and producer Parrish Smith (@parrishxsmith), with music that refuses to sit still.

And once the final note lands, the night continues.

The afterparty, presented by Echobox (@echoboxradio), independent online radio station from Amsterdam, takes over the Muziekgebouw – and it’s free! Local DJs Bebe bad (@bebe__bad) and Black Cadmium (@black.cadmium.joginda) deliver an eclectic mix of electronic sounds. Raver by heart or rave-curious, everyone is welcome on the dance floor.

What begins as a listening experience turns into a rave.

For RAVE-L, Ravel’s iconic Boléro is reimagined for its 150th anniversary and gently pushed far beyond the concert hall. What starts in orchestral repetition gradually opens up into jazz, electronics and techno, until classical and club culture start to blur into one shared pulse. The young French orchestra Les Apaches ! (@ensemblelesapaches) makes its Dutch debut alongside DJ and producer Parrish Smith (@parrishxsmith), with music that refuses to sit still.

And once the final note lands, the night continues.

Inspired by the UK’s ever-shifting club landscape, his sets carry a sound system sensibility: bass-driven, spacious, and alive with movement. As co-founder of Kurashi, a collective linking the Caribbean and Latin America with Europe, he’s developed a wide musical lens, one that hears connections between continents as easily as between genres.

Inspired by Caribbean and Latin rhythms, digital subcultures, and the ambient chaos of everyday life, tamacoochies’ musical style is unpredictable, intimate, and bouncy. By blending playful, high-energy club sounds with unexpected softer and emotional textures, she aims to create joyful experiences that celebrate community and connection. Her sets invite people to let go and have fun, both on and off the dancefloor. 

Zgjim
Zgjim is an electronic music producer and multidisciplinary artist based between Prishtina and Amsterdam. His work traverses experimental club music, sound design, and visual culture, blending regional influences with forward-thinking sonic textures. Zgjim’s music often features pulsing basslines, captivating melodies, and an undeniable intensity that keeps listeners engaged from start to finish.

Zgjim is an electronic music producer and multidisciplinary artist based between Prishtina and Amsterdam. His work traverses experimental club music, sound design, and visual culture, blending regional influences with forward-thinking sonic textures. Zgjim’s music often features pulsing basslines, captivating melodies, and an undeniable intensity that keeps listeners engaged from start to finish.
