When @spiritboxmusic reached out, they came in fully open. Enthusiastic about our style and very generous in their trust, it’s not every day that we experience this level of creative license.
We set out to build a world that could hold grief, scale, violence, beauty, and the complicated gravity of home.
Practical VFX, live action textures, UE5 environments, Notch-driven abstraction, on-brand IMAG effects… we used all the tools in the box on this one.
Huge respect to the crew, who were an absolute force, punching 10x above their weight every night. Especially @mullinixparker @heyitsshmey
All of the artists on the team pushed through peak festival season to bring this to life and we were fortunate to have them.

REEL 2017-2022: OFFF Edition
When we got asked to present at @offfest this past spring, I realized it had been over 5 years since EFFIXX Studio cut a "reel". Edited during the flight over to Barcelona, it's a quicklook at some of our favorite work since 2017.
These past few years have been a bit of a whirlwind and my resolution for the new year is to be less precious about presentation—to share more and be less creatively reclusive :)
