CGI & VFX Breakdown for "Alexei 3049: DeLorean" by DragonWulf

"This is by far the most complex VFX shot I've ever done. Fully CGI with hundreds of assets. The final 4K renders took about 1 hour... PER FRAME. @emanesfandi and @crschwan were both super patient with me on this one as we tried to find an opening that worked with the beginning of the song, ramping up into a big cyberpunk city reveal.

Thinking back to where I grew up in Pittsburgh, I remember how I've always wanted to capture that magical feeling of exploding out of the Fort Pitt tunnel at night, seeing the beautiful skyline, and trying to absorb it all in the few second before you have to merge across four lanes to get to your exit on the other side of the bridge. Fellow Pittsburgers should even be able to recognize the bridge I used, if you look close enough 😉
All in all, I'm thrilled with how it turned out!"

Congratulations to @jonfavreau on bringing Star Wars back to the big screen and to everyone else involved. The film is such a blast and as someone who didn’t grow up on the films, getting to see a new Star Wars new in theaters was a bucket list item. This was also the biggest Hollywood event I’ve ever attended so was really geekin’ out 😂
