emma kruch but just call me emma k
Professional Photographer | Creative Director | Stylist | Visual Storyteller | Food Enthusiast //📍Napa, CA + beyond // ✉️: hello@emmakcreative.com

Hi, it’s still me! You may have noticed a username change: the “Morris” in my branding is officially no longer — Emma K Creative is the future.
After years of wanting to make this important switch, finally taking the leap has been empowering but also a bit scary from a professional standpoint. You see, “Emma K. Morris” hasn’t been ME (or my name at all) for a long while. It’s the brand I have worked tirelessly to grow from the ground up, but a name I want no energetic ties to and ultimately a reflection of a past life. Over the years, I was told by brand strategists not to take this rebranding risk due to the name recognition I have with the community and national publications, the likely loss in SEO and engagement, the confusion with image credits, and and and…but let me tell you what: I am certain I made the right choice. For me, it’s worth the headache in order to shed past limitations, reclaim my power, and fully emerge into the evolved space I feel I’ve carved out for myself in this industry.
Though this decision was more personal than professional, I have ultimately always been more than a photographer — I’m also a creative director, stylist, brand storyteller, and writer, so therefore branding myself as a creative studio makes a lot of sense in the end.
This day feels cathartic for me. I want to thank you for reading this and supporting my journey over years, whether you’re a dear friend, a client, or maybe you’ve followed me here on Instagram since the very beginning. I’d be grateful if you’d all help spread the word that you can now just call me by my true name Emma Kruch (pronounced “Kroosh”) or simply “Emma K” for short, and find me here @emmakcreative, www.emmakcreative.com + hello@emmakcreative.com. Much love 💕

Back in 2019 (I think?), @danpetroski asked me to document his friends Sarah and Jason Heller making pasta in their home kitchen. It was rainy and moody and their cute cat made several appearances before the sun popped out at the very end (frame one). It was magic. And now, years later, Jason and Sarah have started a wildly popular pop-up dinner series in their home called @pastaloversnapa. I do love this town and all the remarkable projects I have the pleasure of documenting and amplifying.

Flowers for all the moms out there holding it down. So many of these queens in my life that I tagged and tagged until it cut me off. And there’s still more! Celebrating you all today 🤍

That time @jahlala and I escaped to Golden Gate Park to touch grass during the scary part of lockdown.

Over the next month and a half I’ll be sharing a slow drip of mostly outtakes + behind-the-scenes footage from the many dozens of photoshoot days that went into capturing the visual storytelling for Wineland, a book by @chefcharliepalmer with @mattvillano. Set to be released on @artisan_books on June 16, it’s pages are a celebration of the raw, authentic beauty of Sonoma County and some of its most iconic artisans, makers, vintners, chefs + farmers.
More than a year and a half ago, I spent the morning documenting @hogislandoysterco founders John Finger and Terry Sawyer at work in the Bay (I’m looking very fashionable in my hip waders). This easily lands on my top five list for favorite shoots of all-time. Special thanks to @rembean for capturing such a special behind-the-scenes moment!

We talk about community a lot—and today we’re celebrating a special piece of ours.
John has been with us since the very beginning. Literally. He placed our very first order over 11 years ago. Since then, he’s brought hundreds of people through our doors and still joins us every week.
He’s a ball of joy, with a knack for making people feel seen and valued. He’s got a sharp palate for food and wine—and he’s also the one who introduced us to the best mustard (iykyk).
Because of John, we’ve met so many more people like him, and built the kind of community we always hoped for.
Thank you, John. And thank you to all of you for showing up, week after week. We wouldn’t be here without you.❤️🎉

We harvest honey the old way, slowly and by hand. Our honey isn’t spun at high speeds in metal drums, and it isn’t heated so it flows faster. It isn’t pushed through filters to make it perfectly clear and uniform. Most of our honey comes out of the hive exactly the way the bees stored it: thick, heavy, and full of pollen. Real honey is messy like that. It carries the landscape with it—the flowers, the seasons, and the tiny grains of pollen that tell the story of where the bees have been. We cut comb, press honey, and render wax gently. Sometimes it takes an entire day to process what a large operation could do in an hour. But the trade-off is something we care deeply about. The honey never touches heated machinery. It never loses its pollen. It never gets standardized into something anonymous. Each harvest tastes a little different because the land is different every season. That’s not inefficiency. That’s the point. If that means we’ll never produce honey by the ton, we’re perfectly okay with that. Bees don’t rush, and neither do we. 📷 @emmakcreative

The Instagram Story Viewer is an easy tool that lets you secretly watch and save Instagram stories, videos, photos, or IGTV. With this service, you can download content and enjoy it offline whenever you like. If you find something interesting on Instagram that you’d like to check out later or want to view stories while staying anonymous, our Viewer is perfect for you. Anonstories offers an excellent solution for keeping your identity hidden. Instagram first launched the Stories feature in August 2023, which was quickly adopted by other platforms due to its engaging, time-sensitive format. Stories let users share quick updates, whether photos, videos, or selfies, enhanced with text, emojis, or filters, and are visible for only 24 hours. This limited time frame creates high engagement compared to regular posts. In today’s world, Stories are one of the most popular ways to connect and communicate on social media. However, when you view a Story, the creator can see your name in their viewer list, which may be a privacy concern. What if you wish to browse Stories without being noticed? Here’s where Anonstories becomes useful. It allows you to watch public Instagram content without revealing your identity. Simply enter the username of the profile you’re curious about, and the tool will display their latest Stories. Features of Anonstories Viewer: - Anonymous Browsing: Watch Stories without showing up on the viewer list. - No Account Needed: View public content without signing up for an Instagram account. - Content Download: Save any Stories content directly to your device for offline use. - View Highlights: Access Instagram Highlights, even beyond the 24-hour window. - Repost Monitoring: Track the reposts or engagement levels on Stories for personal profiles. Limitations: - This tool works only with public accounts; private accounts remain inaccessible. Benefits: - Privacy-Friendly: Watch any Instagram content without being noticed. - Simple and Easy: No app installation or registration required. - Exclusive Tools: Download and manage content in ways Instagram doesn’t offer.
