Bite the Mind That Feeds You is the first essay in a two-part series titled Remedies for a Post-Apocalyptic Country. Drawing from my experience of growing up in Nigeria, the essay examines how my own identity has been shaped under enduring colonial structures while proposing pathways towards our collective decolonisation. As Nigeria deteriorates before our very eyes, it becomes increasingly urgent to reject the survival imposed upon us, and commit instead to collective mental and social liberation.

This months review comes from Teni @oneplusoneis0, who joined us as a guest to experience a production shaped by @daberechi’s associate video design. Her reflection offers a perspective that goes beyond critique, capturing the essence of why this work exists and the stories it serious to tell.

This months review is on Another Country by James Baldwin. This book to @daberechi a year and some change to read, its contents are riddled with complexities surrounding racial injustice, friendship and community that are still resounding today. The review lets go of traditional essay structure with the aim of sifting through the difficult emotions that the book excavates.

this months essay is all about attention, how it functions as currency, will, and even defies our sense of physical location, actingwithin and without the mind. we explore the minds natural inclination to extend itself outwards, into non-biological props to allow for easier manipulation of our environment, and how exactly to harness that interplay between us, the natural world & these technological tools.

icymi I wrote a lovely essay about play, games & social dreaming on @entertainment.baby! dreaming out loud, in the open would’ve been my worst nightmare if you’d asked me two years ago, but I have now learned that it is a very necessary action. how else can we(you)(me)(I) push things forward to a preferable collective future? the link is in my bio if you’re yet to give it a read, go ahead & subscribe to the newsletter while you’re at it! and if you have any thoughts, I’m open to conversation❣️

This month we explore the imaginary world of Play, Games and Gamification. We pose the question: how do we use the didactic life force present within play to actively reimagine our futures? Read via link in bio!

This month, cantfindmypen @oneplusoneis0 reviews: There are Rivers in the Sky by Elif Shafak.

Shafak is a very active and unique voice, speaking to a lot of the injustices in the world, particularly in the Middle East. She works not only as an author but as a public speaker, political scientist and activist. As we’ve collectively entered 2025, with all the complexities that surround daily life, this essay serves as a reminder to uphold the lines surrounding our realities and identities in high esteem. To consider, question, respect and honour them.

I hope you enjoy it as much as I did! Happy New Year!

—— Technical art feels like a unique kind of flower. Technical Artists works together to create this mechanism of change, beauty, and meaning, but if you’re not there to witness it, you miss the flower in bloom. The performance exists in that specific moment, just like a flower at its peak—fleeting, but no less profound because of its impermanence.

View Instagram Stories in Secret

The Instagram Story Viewer is an easy tool that lets you secretly watch and save Instagram stories, videos, photos, or IGTV. With this service, you can download content and enjoy it offline whenever you like. If you find something interesting on Instagram that you’d like to check out later or want to view stories while staying anonymous, our Viewer is perfect for you. Anonstories offers an excellent solution for keeping your identity hidden. Instagram first launched the Stories feature in August 2023, which was quickly adopted by other platforms due to its engaging, time-sensitive format. Stories let users share quick updates, whether photos, videos, or selfies, enhanced with text, emojis, or filters, and are visible for only 24 hours. This limited time frame creates high engagement compared to regular posts. In today’s world, Stories are one of the most popular ways to connect and communicate on social media. However, when you view a Story, the creator can see your name in their viewer list, which may be a privacy concern. What if you wish to browse Stories without being noticed? Here’s where Anonstories becomes useful. It allows you to watch public Instagram content without revealing your identity. Simply enter the username of the profile you’re curious about, and the tool will display their latest Stories. Features of Anonstories Viewer: - Anonymous Browsing: Watch Stories without showing up on the viewer list. - No Account Needed: View public content without signing up for an Instagram account. - Content Download: Save any Stories content directly to your device for offline use. - View Highlights: Access Instagram Highlights, even beyond the 24-hour window. - Repost Monitoring: Track the reposts or engagement levels on Stories for personal profiles. Limitations: - This tool works only with public accounts; private accounts remain inaccessible. Benefits: - Privacy-Friendly: Watch any Instagram content without being noticed. - Simple and Easy: No app installation or registration required. - Exclusive Tools: Download and manage content in ways Instagram doesn’t offer.
