📢 AUDITION NOTICE 📢 | Toledo Ballet Company Dancers 2026–27 🇺🇸

Toledo Ballet [ @toledoballet ], part of Live Arts Toledo [ @liveartstoledo ] and directed by Eric Otto [ @ericotto79 ], is seeking professional ballet dancers for the 2026–2027 season.

👀 WHO THEY’RE LOOKING FOR:
• Professional male & female ballet dancers
• Strong classical ballet training & performance background
• Artists passionate about teaching dancers of various ages & levels
• Dancers comfortable teaching:
 – Advanced ballet
 – Pointe
 – Introductory classes

✨ ABOUT THE POSITION:
Company dancers will:
• Perform in multiple productions throughout the season
• Teach at Toledo Ballet studios
• Participate in community outreach programmes

🎭 SEASON INCLUDES:
• Three full-length ballets with the Toledo Symphony
• Spring Showcase
• June Showcase

✨ ADDITIONAL OPPORTUNITIES:
Professional dancers may receive mentorship in:
• Production
• Marketing
• Finance
• Arts administration

💰 CONTRACT INFORMATION:
• Paid company positions available
• Unpaid apprenticeships also available depending on experience & level

⚠️ REQUIREMENTS:
• Authorization to work in the United States required
• No visa sponsorship available

✨ PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• Experience with ABT or other classical ballet teaching methods
• Experience teaching in studios or summer programmes
• Experience working with children

🔸 RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
• Performing throughout the season
• Teaching multiple levels & age groups
• Outreach & community engagement
• Supporting rehearsals & curriculum consistency

Dear Dancers, Volunteers, Cast and Crew,
Nutcrackers come and go, but this one, Toledo Ballet’s 85th production, was truly one for the books!! We celebrated record breaking ticket sales and the largest cast in recent memory, making this production especially meaningful. To see all of you work so incredibly hard onstage, backstage and at every event was heartwarming. 
I am filled with gratitude for all that you gave to this production. Thank you for helping create a truly unforgettable season and for carrying forward a legacy 85 productions strong!
