Feels amazing to go back to @harrowboxingclub where I did my Level 1 back in 2021. Back then I felt like such an imposter to be on a coaching course and so insecure about my boxing knowledge. 3 years later coaching is my full time job and I'm preparing for my 8th bout 🥊 anything is possible with consistency, hard work and faith.

Such a beautiful weekend at my first ever Women's Winter Box Cup and I am PSYCHED to come away with silver. This truly is a journey of unwavering faith in myself that I can do this and I do belong here.

So proud of my girls @svthorpe @mini_zoe @paulamenescal , deeply grateful to my coach @lodgiecoach65 and the whole @london_community_boxing fam, and to the organisers @englandboxingofficial for this incredible event for women and girls from across the world. And what a privilege to share a ring with two proper kick ass boxers.

Now it's back to the gym and level up 📈 The road really is the goal.

Also big up the fact that for first time I had a female ref and also a medical from a female doctor 🔥🔥🔥🔥

I have lost so much in recent years but on this day, I won. I always thought my first win would feel euphoric but to be honest it felt uncomfortable. I felt unworthy and embarrassed. Perhaps those demons within us get louder when we prevail, in an attempt to keep us small.

But as the days pass, I am beginning to feel proud and grateful. Grateful that God gave me the drive to persevere through it all. Grateful for this sport which brings such healing and joy to my body, mind and spirit. Grateful to my opponent for their own journey of grind and perseverance, and for entering into this sacred moment with me, where the world fades away and it is just her and I and the ring. And most of all grateful for my community at @london_community_boxing - for being a family to me and helping me grow every single day, so that me and my life can become something new. Deeply thank you to every one of you (you know who you are).

Onto Women's Winter Box Cup next weekend and honestly I can't wait. Win or lose, I will be living. My heart will beat and my breath will flow. And that, my friends, is what it's all about.

with a scholarship.

We had women and girls from Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Brazil/Portugal, Poland and Norway all together learning, growing, building their bodies and minds. This is a beautiful time to be female, to be a boxer, to gather from across the world. I feel so proud and privileged to have been among you and know I am in the company of future great champions.

These women and girls have bright spirits, loving hearts and the fires of commitment and determination in their bellies. I can't wait to watch their success and journeys in the coming seasons.
