A little before and after…

Ten years ago today I boarded a plane for work the day after I was married. That day I wasn’t only leaving my wife but I was also leaving what would become our first child.

Today I find myself boarding a plane, again for work, leaving behind my wife, daughter, and son.

I couldn’t have predicted it but today we parted ways more dedicated to each other than ever. I am so blessed. I don’t know how we got here and I don’t recommend our path to anyone but we’re here and for that I am so grateful.
