One piece of a puzzle extracted from its original context can still be a harmonious fit in a thoughtfully designed space.
The placement here conveys multiple messages for me, on a very personal note;
it was about filling emptiness with vibrancies ️of colours️, but still allowing space for it to grow and become what it has to be.

From a birds' eye view, to the soundtrack of chirping birds - standing strong in a swirl of colours!

This painting captures the essence of my connection to my native land, from a birds’ view, yet felt deeply within. It reflects the warmth, the depth, the vibrancy, and the intricate layers that shape its identity. The movement, the contrasts, and the rhythms all intertwine, much like the roots of its people and history. To me, it is a visual dialogue—one that speaks of heritage, transformation, and the ever-evolving pulse of this place.

Painting currently on show at Caudan Arts Centre, part of "Maurice, Terre d'artistes".
