A film is shaped by a cast and a crew.
I was lucky to work with some of the best of both worlds.

A film is also shaped by budget, time, available locations, weather, and the natural temporal boundaries of a 120 minute feature.

In my head, I had more than could ever be filmed with a camera and projected onto a screen. More storylines, more setting detail, more internality than the medium of film could capture.

So I wrote Barron's Cove, the novel. A deeper dive into the mystery and characters that weave this story together.

When 10-year-old Barron is found dead and the police look the other way, his father Caleb crosses a line from which there is no return.

Critics are calling BARRON'S COVE "a hell of a ride that grabs you by the throat" and "unmissable, scalding storytelling" that "sticks with you in your gut, burns your throat, and bruises your conscience."

Ten-year-old me is freaking out.

Ever since I saw that mountain fade in at the start of Raiders of the Lost Ark, Paramount Pictures became more than a logo. It became the dream.

More than once, in high school and college, I set the Paramount logo as my laptop and phone background, just to stay connected to that North Star that represented the magic of the movies. On my NYU thesis film BANDITO, I wore vintage Paramount tees I found on eBay, as an expression of sheer joy to be doing something I loved and to help channel that cinematic spirit.

Today, I’m beyond excited to share that BARRON’S COVE has joined the Paramount family of films, and will soon be streaming on @paramountplus for all 79 million subscribers in 2026.

Thank you to everyone who helped make this dream come true. I could not imagine a more perfect ending for my first feature film. 🙏🏻
