🎬 Episode 11 of Voices of Experience is here!
This week, we celebrate SEGD Fellow Alan Jacobson—Founder of Exit Design (@exploreexit), Co-Founder of J2 Design, and Chair of SEGD’s Fellow Committee—whose career has been devoted to using design to bring people and purpose together.
With empathy at the core of his practice, Alan believes great design begins by listening. His work—spanning universities, hospitals, cultural institutions, and civic spaces—translates vision into experiences that help people feel connected, seen, and inspired. Projects like Open Source, a citywide exhibition with the Mural Arts Program that earned a 2016 SEGD Global Design Award, and The Rwanda Healing Project, which used art to transform loss into healing and connection, embody that belief in design as a force for care and community.
As a leader and mentor, Alan fosters collaboration, trust, and care—values that extend far beyond any single project. His belief that design can strengthen relationships and build communities reminds us that the true power of our work lies in how it brings people together.
Because when we lead with empathy, design becomes a shared act of care.

🎉 Exciting news! We’re thrilled to welcome Sarah back to the Exit Design team! After a great internship with us this summer, she’s officially joining us full-time. And is already using her experience on some exciting park + education projects!
A fitting post for our first day back in 2025 and a snow day here in Philly ❄ 👼. First up, we want to thank every one of our angelic (sorry, couldn’t resist) J2 and Exit clients that made 2024 awesome. We celebrate you and your good work and it’s our honor to be part of it.
2024 was a big year for us on the inside too. J2 and Exit create lots of work separately, but in 2024 we worked collaboratively on more projects than ever before. We are looking forward to much more collaboration together and with all of you in 2025. Much love. Now get out there and make a snow angel. 💙 / 🎥 @liamntz
Look Who’s Got a New Website 👋🏼
Anyone who’s done it knows how glorious and painful a new agency website process can be. You gotta just commit and tuck on in when the time is right. Our time was now. We had a lot more to say about our process and practice along with a ton of new work to share. So we set off on the long and winding digital road that led us here. With much pride and without further ado…check out the shiny new j2made.com

The Instagram Story Viewer is an easy tool that lets you secretly watch and save Instagram stories, videos, photos, or IGTV. With this service, you can download content and enjoy it offline whenever you like. If you find something interesting on Instagram that you’d like to check out later or want to view stories while staying anonymous, our Viewer is perfect for you. Anonstories offers an excellent solution for keeping your identity hidden. Instagram first launched the Stories feature in August 2023, which was quickly adopted by other platforms due to its engaging, time-sensitive format. Stories let users share quick updates, whether photos, videos, or selfies, enhanced with text, emojis, or filters, and are visible for only 24 hours. This limited time frame creates high engagement compared to regular posts. In today’s world, Stories are one of the most popular ways to connect and communicate on social media. However, when you view a Story, the creator can see your name in their viewer list, which may be a privacy concern. What if you wish to browse Stories without being noticed? Here’s where Anonstories becomes useful. It allows you to watch public Instagram content without revealing your identity. Simply enter the username of the profile you’re curious about, and the tool will display their latest Stories. Features of Anonstories Viewer: - Anonymous Browsing: Watch Stories without showing up on the viewer list. - No Account Needed: View public content without signing up for an Instagram account. - Content Download: Save any Stories content directly to your device for offline use. - View Highlights: Access Instagram Highlights, even beyond the 24-hour window. - Repost Monitoring: Track the reposts or engagement levels on Stories for personal profiles. Limitations: - This tool works only with public accounts; private accounts remain inaccessible. Benefits: - Privacy-Friendly: Watch any Instagram content without being noticed. - Simple and Easy: No app installation or registration required. - Exclusive Tools: Download and manage content in ways Instagram doesn’t offer.
