Now the dust has began to settle on another incredible WeOutHere we can give you a behind the scenes look at the production of REACTOR, our immersive production just one weekend before at @boomtownfairofficial

Nailing the lighting and visual effects was essential to create a realistic effect on our post apocalyptic build and to do this we worked closely with @fullyvisualised to create high end immersive smoke, lighting and screen effects. Obviously we had to do a boxing walk out of the smoke filled bunker doors.

This has been a staggering dual build, with 2 huge fables teams at both locations (we out here and boomtown) simultaneously. We are knackered but on an absolute high!

All future typography was custom designed by @_mantis.s

A lot of you have been emailing us about this year’s @weoutherefest mural brief and we are happy to announce the brief is now live. We were over the moon with our submissions last year and can’t wait to continue the creative development of the site with your wonderful artwork. We need you!

This dystopian facility was nestled at the edge of the festival. Once you entered through the main bunker blast doors you were met with a clean cut lab facility, aged and distressed by time but still very much functional. The dj booth itself was the reactor and as the name would suggest, reacted to the music.

Last week we fabricated 2 new metal installations for the wonderful @section_hq . The first step of the job was creating an industrial galvanised steel weighted cage around the camera to prevent the live steams being budged by high energy dancing. The second stage of the job was to create an engraved aluminium light fixture to soften the features above the dj and pull the aesthetic cohesion of the space together in conjunction with its pre existing stainless steel booth. Such a joy to contribute towards this community space in East London, 6 months in and the Section crew are only getting started ⚡️
