It’s almost here! During #cambridgefoodanddrink week 2026 we’re hosting a one-day festival of #food and #wellbeing with tasters, demos, kimchi and kombucha workshops, nutritionist tips and the authors behind some of the most incredible #food books right now.
Meet our headliners:
🥕Sandor Ellix Katz @sandorkraut
If you’ve come across fermentation before, chances are you’ve come across Sandor. His work has shaped how people across the world understand fermented food, not just as something to make, but as something cultural, intuitive and deeply human.
He recently contributed to @thepickledcity and is the mind behind The Art of Fermentation.
🌳Rachel de Thample @dethample
Rachel has a way of making things feel doable. Her work brings together seasonal eating, fermentation and low-waste cooking in a way that feels calm and realistic, not overwhelming.
Her experience includes Commissioning Editor of @waitrose Food Illustrated, Head of Food for the pioneering organic box scheme @abelandcole.
✨Amanda Ryder @amandarydernutrition
Amanda’s focus is on what’s happening inside the body, particularly when it comes to gut health and hormones. She translates the science into something you can actually use day to day, without it feeling clinical.

Franco’s work looks at food from the ground up, literally.
