We’re on the cover of MID’s Spring Issue!
.
Excited to share our little ‘Bunkhouse’ home, an ADU we built for ourselves, in the latest issue. Check out the article, and go deeper to page 128 and check the coloring book page they’ve created for the kiddos(!). Honored and grateful. Thx MID!

BUNKHOUSE detail: metal parapet and standing seam panels at corner. This detail required some explaining with our metal crew. The corner panel is a ‘W’ - think Van Halen or Weezer logo - with the middle peak wrapping the corner and outside arms bent upward to engage the first panel on each wall. No janky corner trims! The parapet profile pushes outward to strike a top aligned shadow, then flaps down to collect the top of the wall panels.

The Bunkhouse. Our little ADU project that could. This is my personal favorite photograph from our session with @danielscottjenkins because it relays so much context; the bricks, the stone, the neighbors fence, the stubby mini Fat Albert (real name of a real tree!), the power lines, and damn that little yellow wheelbarrow is perfect. Architecture has reality to contend with!

Check out our stories… we made a fun lil slop vid to entertain ourselves 🫢. Lean into the absurd machine and see what fun we can make! Cheers

We really love this image. Some photos lift up a project. A rare photo will make you pause. Grateful to James Florio for capturing this image, and to @buildwell_builders and David Kremer for making it real.
Telhado, a new home in Boulder, Colorado, is featured in the Fall issue of @modernindenver

We’ve been eager to share our Telhado project. This project began in 2018, it’s been a long and winding road. Photos are ready, and we’re excited to announce that they’ll first appear in print at a store near you (or mailbox). You’ll see a lot more of Telhado in our feed in the coming weeks.
For now… here’s a sneak peek of our Goobie, reading a book beneath the tree that inspired the whole.

We’re doing a personal project, 15 years in the making. Wearing many hats to make this a reality. Does your architect have experience as a laborer, roofer, framer, trim carpenter, and GC? Can you tell?

Honor Award for Hi-Hat in the SARA California Design Awards. Grateful and happy today. Thanks SARA.

Hi-Hat House has been selected by the SARA California Awards Jury to receive a SARA California Design Award in 2025.
.
Thank you SARA California, and thank you members of the jury! We'll find out more about our award level in April.

A cutie patootie.
New work of a diminutive stature for 2025.

Apparently small houses with modest programs are rare these days. The high cost of building has strangled the market for all but the highest budget projects. When approached to design a modest 1800sf (plus 900sf basement) at a budget considered ‘low’ in our local market, we recognized the challenge. Tight and efficient mixed with handsome and fun… it’s under construction today!
We’ve completed a really fun project with an amazing client family this past summer. We’re excited to share a couple of images of a custom cubby wall detail by @poppyandco_ which are featured in @cherrycreeklifestyle magazine’s December issue. This amazing wall was built by @northtablewoodworks and these photos actually capture it at half completion (more to come next summer). Our favorite builder partner @buildwell_builders was also on the scene.
.
Happy Holidays, ya’ll.

Flower Architecture:
Handling well thought out interior details, no problem. Handling area stray cats, not particularly.
So good to celebrate a recently finished project with amazing clients and the talented team behind it.

@flowerarchitecture design, yo!
The Instagram Story Viewer is an easy tool that lets you secretly watch and save Instagram stories, videos, photos, or IGTV. With this service, you can download content and enjoy it offline whenever you like. If you find something interesting on Instagram that you’d like to check out later or want to view stories while staying anonymous, our Viewer is perfect for you. Anonstories offers an excellent solution for keeping your identity hidden. Instagram first launched the Stories feature in August 2023, which was quickly adopted by other platforms due to its engaging, time-sensitive format. Stories let users share quick updates, whether photos, videos, or selfies, enhanced with text, emojis, or filters, and are visible for only 24 hours. This limited time frame creates high engagement compared to regular posts. In today’s world, Stories are one of the most popular ways to connect and communicate on social media. However, when you view a Story, the creator can see your name in their viewer list, which may be a privacy concern. What if you wish to browse Stories without being noticed? Here’s where Anonstories becomes useful. It allows you to watch public Instagram content without revealing your identity. Simply enter the username of the profile you’re curious about, and the tool will display their latest Stories. Features of Anonstories Viewer: - Anonymous Browsing: Watch Stories without showing up on the viewer list. - No Account Needed: View public content without signing up for an Instagram account. - Content Download: Save any Stories content directly to your device for offline use. - View Highlights: Access Instagram Highlights, even beyond the 24-hour window. - Repost Monitoring: Track the reposts or engagement levels on Stories for personal profiles. Limitations: - This tool works only with public accounts; private accounts remain inaccessible. Benefits: - Privacy-Friendly: Watch any Instagram content without being noticed. - Simple and Easy: No app installation or registration required. - Exclusive Tools: Download and manage content in ways Instagram doesn’t offer.
